| The research on various aspects of the transition period is a hot topic that scholars have been studying and discussing in recent years,while the needs of social life are the most direct and the most realistic reactions to the real life.Since the implementation of reform and opening up policy,China's economy has obtained a rapid development and people's living standards continue to improve,but at the same time,it also has produced certain issues such as the uneven growth of material and spiritual needs.This paper adopts the literature analysis and in-depth interview methods,regarding the Third Plenary Session of the 11 th CPC Central Committee in 1978 as the time node to study on the transitions of Spring Festival ideas,basic life necessities,culture and entertainment,Spring Festival consumption and social activities,etc;and the causes of these changes are analyzed as well.Through the investigation into the changes of the transition period,it further highlights people's social life needs,and then explains the basic features of social needs in this period reflected by the Chinese New Year in order to promote the healthy and reasonable development of society.The paper is divided into four parts.In the first part,it mainly expounds the research purpose and puts forward questions.Based on the combing of relevant Spring Festival customs,as well as festival cultures and changes,this paper explains the existing research achievements and problems.The second part introduces the background of Chinese New Year celebration changes,and further explains the differences in all aspects of China's social transformation period.Relied on the interview,the third part reveals the celebration changes of Spring Festival in China during the transition period.The fourth part summarizes the basic characteristics of social life in China during the transition period through former interviews and status quo analysis. |
