As the mother of the exercise, track and field course itself has a very high heritage value. But the colleges'track and field courses whom "nobody cares about"need to meet the requirements of the times and students. The motor skill bilateral transfer theory takes the students as the main body, to cultivate students' cognitive ability, strengthen the students' understanding of the action, increase the learning efficiency under the influence of the integrated development of the left and right limbs and the bilateral transfer, enhance learning interest, intensify the technical action and increase the quality of students, which is in line with the teachin gphilosophy of today's high-level talent training objectives.Taking the motor skill bila teral transfer theory as an entry point, this paper explores the application pattern of the bilateral transfer teaching theory, and uses the methods of literature, questionnaire, mathematical statistics, and experimentation and so on to discussion on the application mode of track and field teaching in universities' PE Majors in back-style high jump project. First of all, it sums up and sorts out the motor skill bilateral transfer theory to determine the feasibility of the experiment and formulate experimental content and programs. Through expert investigation and questionnaire survey, it collects experiences of experts, teachers and coaches. And then it carries out practical research, and finally through the mathematical statistics to conduct analysis and discussion of the experimental results. According to the information obtained by integrating information, it draws the following conclusions:1. In the track and field courses, the application of the teaching methods of motor skill bilateral transfer theoretical direction on the normal school students of physical education can improve the students' interest in learning, increase the degree of classroom concentration and enhance the learning attitude. The improvement of learning interest can promote the progress of teaching and increase the efficiency steadily.2. The teaching methods of motor skill bilateral transfer theoretical direction can improve the self-confidence of students of physical education. Improve his firm character when facing a certain challenging movement similar to high jump. Besides self-confidence, it also can improve the students' inner self-affirmation at the same time, to strengthen students' self-cognitive ability in the process of sports learning.3. The teaching methods of motor skill bilateral transfer theore tical direction can improve students' technical action of back-style high jump, but which does not significantly improve their sports performance. It is of great significance to the students of physical education in the future teaching demonstration.Based on the findings of this study, the following recommendations are made:1. In the process of motor skill bilateral transfer theoretical teaching, it should be noted that the quality gap of the student between the advantaged side and disadvantaged side should not be too obvious . In training the disa dvantaged side of the limb, it should ensure that the scope of the strength and progress is within the affordable range.2. In the teaching process, we should pay special attention to correct the wrong pedagogical application. Observe the dynam ic state of students at any time, and strictly follow the princi pies of teaching, maximize the protection of students to prevent them from accidental injury.3. In the process of training the limbs technical movement of disadvantaged side,it requires athletes to fully conduct warm-up and pay great attention. A void overestimating your ability to try actions which may lead to an injury.
