This paper mainly discusses a practice research of Extracurricular Group Cooperative Learning of senior high school English,which aims to provide a brand new and effective teaching practice for the development of Extracurricular Group Cooperative Learning of senior high school English.This paper first reviews the relevant research on Cooperative Learning of high school English,and then summarizes the relevant theoretical schools of Cooperative Learning and their main points.On the basis of this,through a questionnaire survey,we explore the existing problems of the Cooperative Learning of senior high school English in China.At present,there are the following problems: cooperative learning too formal,cooperative learning goal not clear,management of cooperative learning inappropriate,teachers short of clear positioning in group cooperative learning,randomized grouping not meeting the requirements of group cooperative learning,not clear division of labor in the group,etc.For these problems,we explore the causes as follows:teachers short of theoretical knowledge and innovation,the poor management,inappropriate teaching contents,students short of the sense of cooperation.Finally we put forward the corresponding strategies and suggestions as well:teachers well prepared with theories and ready to practice,teachers precise positioning;multiple mechanism made use of,strengthening the sense and skills of cooperation,proper grouping,teaching contents and methods,developing appropriate teaching sceneAfter discussing the development of Group Cooperative Learning of senior high school English in China,we focus on how to implement Extracurricular Group Cooperative Learning of high school English in China from the theoretical and practical level.We mainly make a detailed discussion in the following aspects: The relationship between teachers and students;grouping principle;implementation plan;evaluation mechanism etc.In the Extracurricular Group Cooperative Learning of senior high school English,the core relationship between teachers and students is an equal relationship of cooperation,and they can explore the learning questions and exchange ideas equally.However,there are obvious differences in roles.The roles of teachers include: organizers,participants,mentors,regulators,and evaluators.As a student,the main role is the main participant,the leading role in participating in the study activitiesFor the grouping,we think that there must be homogeneity between groups and heterogeneity in the group,so as to let the groups have a fair competition.With regard to the implementation of the Extracurricular Group Cooperative Learning of senior high school English,there are two core parts—arrangement of the students in each group and a proper content and clear goal.As for evaluation mechanism,we should use a scientific and multiple evaluation mechanism to evaluate the results of Extracurricular Group Cooperative Learning of senior high school English.We have received better results after the research result was applied in Class 1,Senior 1,in X County HR Senior High SchoolThrough making a practice research of the Extracurricular Group Cooperative Learning of senior high school English,we put forward a brand new and effective teaching practice—Extracurricular Group Cooperative Learning plus Group Show in class for other English teachers' reference.
