Experimental teaching of reading advocates a teaching approach that guides students to do the readings in a self-directed way,meanwhile,it puts emphasis on the self-directed experiences,positive internalization and eventually the construction of context.This teaching approach in reading fits the Chinese cultural characteristics and language learning habit,and it has gained extensive concerns from the academic world,with theoretical basis and practical strategies.Through observation and communication,this paper analyzes the existing problems in primary reading classes.It summarizes the process of experimental learning of reading on the theoretical basis of clarifying the psychological process of experience,the process of experimental learning and the psychological mechanism of reading,with which to inspect the existing issues in primary language reading classes.This paper consists of five parts:The first part is the introduction,illustrating the background,definition of concepts,research methods,as well as the purpose and significance of the studies.In addition,it sorts and analyzes the domestic and overseas studies on experimental teaching.The second part is the theoretical basis,discussing the psychological process of experience,the process of experimental learning and the psychological mechanism of reading respectively.It takes the above discussions as the theoretical basis to create the process of experimental learning in reading.The third part is about practice.It inspects the classroom teaching in reading of the sample through the process of experimental learning in reading,thus to find the existing problems of lacking experiences among students.The forth part introduces the strategies,illustrating the strategies of how to gain experiences from scenario creation,guidance on reading and recitation,communication and discussion,as well as transference and development in detail.The fifth part is about the feedback on practice.After applying the mentioned strategies to classroom teaching of reading,it shows that the experimental teaching of reading stimulates students' interests on reading to some extent,motivating students to learn,animating the classroom atmosphere and improving students' autonomous learning ability.
