The author’s understanding of an excellent history teacher can be divided into two aspects: excellence of history knowledge and excellence of education experience.That is to say,excellent history teachers should not only know the history but also understand history teaching.These teachers are required to have more broad knowledge and skills in order to cope with the complexity of the education.The pushing of Excellent Teachers Plan provides complete reference for cultivating excellent history teachers.After several years of exploration,colleges gradually implement and perfect The Collaborative Training Mode,The History Curriculum System,The History Teaching Practice Base Construction,History Teaching Evaluation and so on.History teaching is important content of traditional culture teaching.The cultivation of the excellent history teacher relates to teachers’ quality guarantee.It is also an integral part of the whole Excellent Teachers Plan.However,the characteristics of the new time always show up with the development of the time.New college entrance examination made the first experiment in Zhejiang and Shanghai Province and has formally spread to all over the country.This change affects many innovations in all shapes and sizes.Therefore,under the new college entrance examination and docking,through training programs on an excellent history teacher in colleges and universities,training mode and training quality,the cultivation of the excellent history teacher in colleges and universities put forward the feasible opinions and the suggestions,which is the purpose of this study.The author made a systematical research on the culture of the excellent history teacher from the view of the new college entrance exam by usingliterature study method,case study method and interviewing method,based on the education of history teachers and training program of excellent history teachers in Sichuan Normal University.The main contents include the basic concepts and main ideas of the new college entrance examination and the excellent history teacher,analysis of the theoretical basics of the excellent history teacher,the contradictory relation of the development,the main reasons of cultivating excellent history teachers and the suggestions for culturing excellent history teachers.Although there are some shortcomings,I still hope that I can make my efforts to promote the cultivation of the excellent teacher.
