Dilemma And Path:Study On The Development Of Urban Ancient Street Culture

Since reform and opening,China's urbanization moves forword rapidly.According to the related date that National Bureau of Statistics shows,China's urbanization rate of 2016 is 57.35%.Some towns emphasized economic growth in theprocess of construction excessively,and destroyed something which is valuable,for instance,ancient town and antient street,then replace it with some morden high-rise buildings or a large number of false antique which losing tradition culture,in addition,some local governments and residents are lack of protection conciousness and the cognition of ancient street-culture's value and the impact offoreign culture is severe.Ancient street culture is facing a series of dilemmas,and the cultural characteristics are gradually weakened."National Plan on New Urbanization"(2014-2020)proposed that we should strengthen the project and managemengt of the three-dimensional space,the planar coordination,the overall style,and protect the continuity of the urban context,it stressed that we need to improve the openness and inclusiveness of the city,meanwhile,strenthen the protection of natural heritage and culture,then we can continue the historical context,and construct humanistic city.We can see that the new urbanization in China will pay more attention to the protection of cultural heritage and urban characteristics.According to the situation of ancient street in our country,people are increasingly concerned about the process of the urbanization which is benefit to human development will be transformed into the destruction of urban historical context,the related research get the attention of humanities and social sciences increasingly,and it gradually become a hot issue.In this paper,the author analyzes this problem from the perspective of culture,on the basis of comprehensive analysis the relevant concepts,points out thatancient street is the street and its surrounding area which has certain quantity andhistorical value of the heritage buildings,and it can reflect the reginal culture,such as people's traditional production and living way.Meanwhile,it can keep urban functions and the flavor of turban life,it also has the space-time significance.On the basis of the understanding of the macro level of culture,the author tries to comprehend the ancient street culture from the microscopic view,then defines the concept of ancient street culture.lt is the people who live in the ancient street created the different forms of complex traits to meet their needs.From the structure point of view,it includes the culture of time and space,the culture of communication,the cultule of concept,the culture of business,the folk art andliterature and other forms of culture,which is accumulated in the process.Luoyang is an important birthplace of Chinese civilization,it has a long history,now there still retain some buildings and blocks which can reflect its historical continuity.L ancient street is the most complete district that retains the traditional style of Luoyang old city.It has certain representativeness.This paper selects the ancient street as a case,then the author parses the ancient street culture from the culture of time and space,the culture of communication and some other aspects,the author tries to grasp the content of ancient street culture,in order tounderstand its connotation deeply.On the basis of on-the-spot investigation and the related search,the author discusses the predicament that the ancient street culture is facing with the aid of sociology and some other disciplines,the author finds that now the ancient street culture is facing some dilemmas.For instance,the destruction of urban construction and the spatial pattern of streets and lanes,the loss of the subject who inherit culture,the conflict of the related subject in the culture protection concepts,the loss of the business characteristics and some other difficulties.On the basis of analysizing the case above,the author discusses the path of ancient streetculture existence from personality to generality,then puts forword that in the work of protecting ancient srteet culture,the government should be in a dominantposition,and it should drive residents and other related subjects to make positive action,such as perfecting relevant laws and regulations,protecting the authenticity of ancient street culture,injecting vitality for the culture,promoting multidisciplinary comprehensive reserch,etc.We should give ancient street culture diversified support for its preservation and extension,for instance,from institution,development concepts,theoretical support,etc.The author's intenion to pay attention to theancient street culture is not to exclude the development of the city,but we should keep alert to the living of the ancient street culture,and take it as a defense line of keeping the cultural characteristics of the city,and we should explore suitable for the present and operable path according to the actual situation of every urban ancient street continuously.
