"Mathematics wide angle" is the new content of PEP since curriculum reform at the new version of primary school mathematics textbook.The purpose is to infiltrate mathematical thought and method,accumulate experience and enhance mathematical literacy for students at the activity closely contacting with practice.However,a lot of problems are emerging in the course of teaching.for example,how to realize the mathematical idea behind the "Mathematics wide angle" and achieve the goal of the knowledge in this part.Mathematical modeling literacy is a very important mathematical literacy."Mathematics wide angle" contains some mathematical thought and method,such as optimization and model thinking,which include the process of modeling.The model is extracted from experience in life and applied to life after solving it,which fully reflects the close relation between “mathematical wide angle” and mathematical modeling.In order to attain the goal of "wide angle of mathematics",this paper make teaching design research from the point of mathematical modeling.It has great significance for students to infiltrate mathematical modeling thought and improve the teaching quality of "mathematics wide angle".This paper is based on the literature of mathematical modeling teaching and mathematical wide angle.The author sums up the current situation of "mathematical wide angle",finds out the causes of the existing problems and makes a study of attribution,and presents the feasibility of teaching "mathematical wide angle" from the point of view of modeling.Under the support of relevant theories,it is suggested that the following principles should be followed in the teaching design: Closely linked with teaching materials,refining the principles of teaching content,based on learning situation,teaching design principles;teaching design reflects the principles of mathematical thinking.Through the text analysis of the curriculum standard and the textbook,the goal,the method,the process and the operation of the teaching of mathematical wide-angle modeling are designed respectively.A tree planting problem is designed and analyzed.Finally,the conclusion is drawn that the idea of modeling runs through the teaching of "mathematics wide angle",and the teaching goal can be achieved.Through the study,we expect more experts and scholars to pay attention to "mathematics wide angle".From the perspective of mathematical modeling,we will make a more in-depth study of "mathematical wide-angle" in order to attract a lot of attention.
