Constructivism is a psychological theory about children's knowledge and learning.It is an important branch of contemporary cognitive psychology.The constructivist theory proposes that the cognitive development of children is based on the interaction of internal and external factors.Based on the original knowledge and experience,children can construct the knowledge about the outside world by interacting with the surrounding environment(social culture).This external knowledge reconstructs the children's self-identity through the process of assimilation and adaptation.Therefore,learners in the whole process is not passive to accept,but actively construct.Learners are an active construction of the main body.Also,course is not closed and static,but a dynamic open system.Teachers are not the core of teaching and the subject,but the learner's guide and collaborators.The so-called learning is the process that learners actively construct under the guidance of teachers and in the dynamic open courses.The kindergarten reading activities' development is still in its infancy.The great value to the country and personal development of kindergarten reading activities has not been recognized by the community and has not yet caused the attention of the state and relevant departments.The standard of kindergarten reading activities are in the blank.Meanwhile,we still lack of the specific guidance for the practice.Constructivism provides a new perspective to kindergarten reading teaching.In the constructivist view,we should pay attention to the generation of knowledge in the determination of reading objectives,pay attention to the generation of the situational knowledge of knowledge in the creation of reading context,pay attention to the dynamic nature of knowledge in the choice of reading materials.In the specific kindergarten reading teaching process,it is necessary to emphasize the interactive construction of teachers and children,to realize the change of teachers and young children's role to emphasize individual self-construction,to realize the independent reading of children;to emphasize the construction of peer cooperation to achieve the cooperation of young children.In the teaching evaluation of reading,constructivism emphasizes qualitative evaluation.And advocates the evaluation as a common psychological construction process of "consultation" between the evaluator and the appraiser;the evaluation is governed by "pluralism" values;evaluation is a kind of democratic consultation,the process of subject participation,rather than the evaluator of the controlled process;the student is also the participant of the evaluation and the subject of the evaluation;the basic method of evaluation is qualitative research methodAnalyzing the kindergarten reading activities from Chinese and foreign countries from the perspective of constructivism,I suppose to expand the research on kindergarten reading activity and improve the cognition of kindergarten reading activity.This study can provide some reference for our kindergarten reading activities.
