Residence is the basic ecological niche upon human,and can be researched from the perspectives of biological attribute and social attribute of human.Residence is people's living,and is the concentrated reflection of human ecological niche.It is constituted with human,buildings(space)and locations,which is the reflection of human ecological niche.The ecological niche of human is the location of human in the ecological system.It is not only the individual of biology,but also the individual of ecology,of multiple biological attributes.As the subject of residence,human is of significant social attribute with functionality and sociality.Buildings are the object of residence;the raw materials come from the natural world,and they are the social ecological system space artificially created by human residence.Human is an individual of biology,and they only can live in the ecological environment that accords with such biological individual,which determines the specific living ecological space structure.Food,clothing,housing and transportation are the necessities for residence.The size of bedroom and environment of kitchen,both are the necessities of basic biology attribute for human.The evolution of construction technology,and construction ecological system under agricultural civilization,both are the achievements of agricultural construction technology system,while the construction ecological system under industrial civilization covers the construction ecological system of agricultural civilization.Regional ecological system is the compatibility of natural ecological system and urban(rural)ecological system.The effects of geographic position and characteristics of natural ecology also determine the difference of human ecological residence.The construction and development of living space refer to planning and design,topography and physiognomy of city.Social ecological system is one of the basic units of natural ecological system,which cannot be separated with economy.As the basic element of social ecological system,human is the organic integration system of laboring and living together,and is the unification of material goods production and consumption.Field of production is the integration of various departments and various professions in economic activity.On a basis of economic development,social ecological system not only exists in production field,but also can beapplied in consumption field.Human in social ecological system is the most active factor,is the basic entry point as individual behavior in the perspective of residence,and also is the change of living habits.The regional cultures of residence make it in different expressive styles,and the development of social system is always based on human.In microscopic perspective,family is the extension of social cultures,while living environment is the external expression of cultures.In the process of urbanization,the urban permanent resident population will increase,and living areas will increase.The spatial orders of city and country are different;the direction from traditional villages to urbanization is the transformation of spatial order.
