The construction of local teaching materials is an important part of the national curriculum construction.The construction of the local teaching materials in Henan province of new China began in 1958 with the decentralization of the national educational management,which has been through 60 years and deserved careful study on construction achievements and application effect of history teaching in Middle Schools.According to the categories and features of Henan local history resources stock,the development achievements and application of Henan local teaching material in recent 60 years,the investigation and analysis of the application status on local teaching material in middle school history teaching,the paper builds its framework and research ideas,and consists of five parts.The first chapter,the introduction part mainly elaborates the selected topic background and research significance,does a preliminary definition of core concepts used in this article,and through a review of the research status and trends at home and abroad,determines the research starting point,research ideas and methods.The second chapter is local historical curriculum resources and their characteristics in Henan.In accordance with the habit classification of local history curriculum resources,such as historical evolution,ancient and modern historical celebrities,important historical events,regional culture,local conditions and customs,historical sites and revolutionary relics,this part classifies and integrates local historical curriculum resources of Henan province,and then summarizes the basic characteristics as the basis and premise for the development of local history textbooks in Henan.The third chapter is the development achievements of Henan local teaching material and its application in history teaching in recent 60 years.Revolving the stage characteristics of Henan local teaching material development,the chapter is divided into three stages,which are the period of decentralization of the national education management(1958-1977),the period of "many textbooks on one guideline " system(1978-2000)and the period of new curriculum reform(2001-2016),and then systematically combs the construction achievement of Henan local teaching material and its application.The fourth chapter is about current situation investigation and analysis on the application of Henan local teaching material in middle school history teaching.Through the survey results of 519 valid questionnaire of seven middle schools in Henan,the result shows there are still problems such as lack of recognition,the shortage of teachers about the local teaching materials in middle school history teaching.accordingly this paper puts forward some improvement suggestions.The fifth chapter,the conclusion,shows Henan local history resources stock and its characteristics,and sums up the development achievements of Henan local teaching materials and application characteristics.Through the questionnaire survey,the paper finds some questions of Henan local teaching materials in middle school history teaching at present,and offers suggestions and future development direction.
