According to "National Medium and Long-term Education Reform and Development Plan(2010-2020)" made by Ministry of Education,students should be regarded as the main body in teaching under the guidance of teachers,so as to give full play to the students,follow the objective laws of education as well as students' physical and mental laws,help each student develop vigorously in thought,and form a new teaching philosophy.In 2011,the Ministry of Education required in the new curriculum for the development of ideological and moral courses that teachers should organize teaching content in creative manners,change the traditional teaching methods,and improve the teaching quality and educational effectiveness.Ideological and moral course is a comprehensive compulsory curriculum that is set by the country based on the characteristics of junior high school students to support the development of junior high school students' ideology and morality.It's an essential standard of the success of ideological and moral courses that we achieve the expected results to strengthen moral education and cultivate people.Junior high school students are in their adolescence when they are under physical and mental development,and full of curiosity about the outside world,having a special demand for vivid and interesting ideological and moral courses that they can participate in.Entertainment-based teaching method is a new way advocated by the country in order to change the examination-oriented education at the end of the last century.Because it conforms to the new educational idea and the spirit of "new curriculum reform" and "new curriculum standard",the method is applied in junior high school ideological and moral class to inspire junior high school students' subject consciousness,and achieve the goal of strengthening moral education and cultivating people.Its implementation and application effectively promoted the "new curriculum reform" and "new curriculum standard" spirit,resulting in a certain degree of benign educational effect.However,due to the educators' different views on entertainment-based teaching method,misunderstandings and many other factors,the entertainment-based teaching method in ideological and ethical education for junior middle school students is not implemented effectively as expected,leading to many problems like disorder of activities,vagueness of contents,etc.Teaching method is adopted to serve teaching content,teaching purpose,teachingeffectiveness.Ideological and moral teaching are not single teaching philosophy or pure classroom teaching methods,teaching skills,or teaching situations,but an integration of teaching methods and skills,scientific and entertainment-based teaching practice,which is throughout the whole course education.The implementation of the teaching method should be scientific,encouraging,subjectivity,direct,practical and so on.The evaluation of the effectiveness of education should follow principles like independent learning,cooperative learning,role change and so on.To further improve entertainment-based teaching method,and form the idea of strengthening moral education and cultivating people,and carry out entertainment-based teaching method,it's necessary to improve teachers' entertainment-based teaching theories and skills,reform senior high school entrance examination system,optimize the course design and enhance teaching links,establish a pattern that attach importance to both inside and outside class activities,and both theory and practice,and perfect related educational laws and regulations,so as to better achieve the goal of strengthening moral education and cultivating people in implementing entertainment-based teaching method in ideological and ethical education for junior middle school students.
