Academic procrastination was defined as an irrational learning activity,during which learning tasks were postponed though students know they should complete on time.Academic procrastination was an important index of students' enthusiasm.The study of junior students' academic procrastination could contribute to develop good learning behavior,improve performance,and enrich researches about academic procrastination.The research mainly adopted questionnaire survey,took 424 junior school students in the countryside as object of their procrastination.This study aimed at the present situation of junior students' academic procrastination,and explored how the relationship of teachers-students and parents-children influence academic procrastination for junior students.Through data analysis,the author reached the results as follows:(1)The overall level of junior students' academic procrastination is not very serious,but there are significant differences in grade and gender.Grade differences showed an increase in academic procrastination as the grade increased,the grade nine student's academic procrastination is the most serious,the grade sever student's delay level is lowest.There was significant difference between genders.Results showed that male students were significant higher than female students.(2)The relationship between teachers and students in Junior school students had a higher score of intimacy and attachment,and lower scores of avoidance and conflict.There were also significant differences in gender and grade.The relationship between girls and teachers is better than that of boys.With the increase of the grade,the avoidance and conflict in the relationship between teachers and students increased,and the attachment and intimacy decreased.(3)Junior school students have significant gender differences in parent-child relationship,The parent child relationship is better than that of the boys.No significant difference in grade.(4)We find the link of the relationship between teachers and students and students' academic procrastination through correlation analysis.The dimensions of academic procrastination were obviously negatively correlated with the intimacy and emotional attachment of the relationship between teachers and students,while it was positively correlated with conflict and avoidance of the relationship.There is a significant negative correlation between the openness and the problem of junior school students' parent-child relationship and the academic procrastination of junior school students,that is,the higher the score,the better academic procrastination behavior is.(5)Regression analysis showed that the intimacy of the relationship between teachers and students had obviously negatively prediction function on academic procrastination.The openness of the parent-child relationship can significantly predict the delay planning of Academic Procrastination of junior school students,and summarize the delay and delay execution.
