In more than ten years of the Chinese teaching reform,there have existed many debates on the curriculum,course and the attribute of Chinese subject definition,teaching forms and contents.However,a consensus has never been reached.These arguments are not meaningless,but arguments between both or all parties are too impulsive and of irrelevance.In fact,it is not conducive to the long-term development of the Chinese teaching.From this aspect to look at our Chinese language teaching,it will be found that the thinking quality is greatly needed.Middle school students are in a critical period of development of thinking,if long clamped down by exam-oriented education,their thinking will be shrinking better than nothing.The connotation of critical thinking in education has basically reached a consensus in the world.In our country,though the cultivation of critical thinking also has signs of being popular,the reality is that teaching practice is much less in Chinese teaching.The author and a few colleagues in specific teaching practice in recent years realize that the nature of the Chinese subject and the characteristics of the novel determine the advantages and necessity of training students' critical thinking.This thesis combines the novel reading teaching with cultivating students' critical thinking,and discusses the strategies of setting,and tries to discuss with theories concerned.The thesis is divided into five parts.The first part: the thesis first introduces the research reason,purpose,significance and research status at home and abroad,on the basis of existing research ideas and research methods of this article are put forward.The second part: discuss the authoritative definition of the concept of critical thinking and a variety of interpretation,summarizes the connotation of the concept,characteristic,put forward the close relationship of the development of critical thinking and high school students.The third part: based on the novel reading teaching status quo in the novel the necessity of training students' critical thinking in reading teaching and significance.The fourth part: discuss the principles of training students' critical thinking in the novel reading teaching,and requirements for teachers and students,the classroom,and the relevant design about the novel reading teaching in training students' critical thinking strategy.The fifth part: try to put the teaching idea to teaching scheme,and then combine the concrete teaching with case analysis,sum up experience and lessons to give a comprehensive evaluation and put forward improvement ideas of teaching reform.
