Critical thinking is a modern thinking mode which seeks justice,rationality and innovation with questioning and speculation.Respecting diversity and pursuing rationality are the essence of this king of thinking.It not only gives students independent,cooperative,tolerant,introspective and innovative healthy personality,but also builds and expands students' cognitive structure and knowledge system.It can improve students' thinking ability of chasing the unity of facts,reason and logic.The thinking conforms to the requirements of social development for talents in the 21st century.Introducing critical thinking into classical Chinese reading teaching in senior high school is not only helpful in cultivating students' Chinese core literacy,but also helping them to better master the language and characters of the mother tongue,enhance the quality of thinking and problem solving skills,raise the awareness of national culture.And that would be the solution for the problem in Chinese teaching.First of all,this paper uses the documentary research method to summarize and explain the critical thinking theory,to clarify the specific connotation,forms and dimensions of the concept and the related factions of the theory,then defines its important role in classical Chinese reading teaching.Secondly,It proves that the teaching of Chinese reading in senior high school,especially the teaching of classical Chinese,is operable from the four aspects of“the critical period of the development of students' critical thinking","the intrinsic link between the disciplines of Chinese and human thinking","the advantage of cultivating critical thinking in the teaching of classical Chinese",and“the appropriateness of the selection of classical Chinese writing".Finally,combining the teaching practice of the first-line teachers and the actual record of the classroom teaching,we explored effective strategies for cultivating students' critical thinking in the classical Chinese of senior high school.The strategy is mainly divided into two aspects.On one hand,Starting from the teachers themselves,the professional quality of Chinese teachers is an important foundation for the development of students' critical thinking.Therefore,teachers must become critical thinkers,be good at finding the connection point between reading materials and critical thinking,and establish the concept of equal communication with students,and constantly improve their professional qualities.On the other hand,starting from the classroom teaching activities,targeted teaching methods named"questioning annotations","using annotations slowly","understanding the text by words" are put forward from "Classical","Literature"and "Culture".They are the three perspectives of "One Body and Four Sides" of classical Chinese.Then we select the lesson named "Discussion of the Qin Dynasty",taught by the special-class teacher Hu Jiashu.Through the analysis of the teaching case,it is proved that it is beneficial to cultivate the critical thinking of the students.Through teaching case analysis,we try to prove that it is conducive to training students' critical thinking,and on this basis,sums up other teaching methods that are beneficial to the cultivation of critical thinking.We hope to provide some references for Chinese critical thinking teaching,especially classical Chinese teaching.
