Mo-tse is famous educator and thinker in the Spring and Autumn period in China,his thought of education,including many unique and highly referential perspective,in which the very characteristic thought is “combining inheritance and innovation”.The educational thought of “combining inheritance and innovation” asserts that inheriting the excellent tradition and innovating in the basis of inheritance,meanwhile,it emphasizes the combination of inheritance and innovation.This educational thought played a major role in many aspects,including inheriting and developing excellent tradition,cultivating innovative talents,promoting social progress and ect.Nowadays,with the development of innovative education,experts and scholars at home and abroad are actively put the thought into practice.In order to following the development trend of the era of knowledge economy closely,urgently need to rapidly develop innovative education in university,of course,Mo-tse' s thought of “combining inheritance and innovation ” has important referential significance for the development of contemporary university in China.This paper firstly mainly to analyze the educational connotation of Mo-tse's thought of “combining inheritance andinnovation ” and innovative education of contemporary university,then to explore its development direction,finally to consider how to improve innovative education in university and to put forward suggestion,which are aimed to contribute to further improve and develop the reform policy of innovative education in university.The main structure is divided into four parts.The first part is introduction,whose main contents include the purpose and significance of the title,bibliographic search,research contents,definition of the concept and research method and train of thought.The second part focuses on the background,connotation and special content of Mo-tse's thought of “combining inheritance and innovation”.Through compare with Confucius' thought of “pass on the ancient culture and not to crate” from the background,school and class,get the conclusion that the specific content,essence and characteristics of Mo-tse's thought of “ combining inheritance and innovation”.The third part mainly to discusses the practice application of Mo-tse's thought of “combining inheritance and innovation”,and to analyze teaching process and method under the guidance of Mo-tse' thought of “combining inheritance and innovation”.The forth part according to thedevelopment status of innovative education in contemporary university,to deep study the value and significance of Mo-tse's thought of “combining inheritance and innovation”from three aspects,including its theoretical value,practical value and contemporary value.And also illustrated the referential significance of Mo-tse' thought of “combining inheritance and innovation”on innovative education of contemporary university.The forth part is the key point in this paper.
