The Practical Study On The Social Work Involvement In The Construction Of Social Support Network For The Accompanying Elderly People

With the change of the times,more young people choose to leave their homes,came to the big city to fight "the world".Young people gradually settled down in the city,more and more accompanying elderly people will enter the urban community life,and gradually become an important part of urban community residents.In the off-site life,with the elderly do not seem to live so comfortable.Unfamiliar living environment,narrow circle,can not help but let them have a lonely,lonely feeling.Relevant data show that a person to get more social support,his happiness index,life satisfaction will be higher.For the elderly,if they can get more social support,then their happiness index and life satisfaction may be higher.This paper is divided into four parts.In Part I,the background of the topic,the significance of the research,the recent study on the accompanying elderly people and the social support network construction as well as definition of related concepts is introduced.In Part II,the background of the thesis-based cases and the living conditions of the accompanying elderly are mainly introduced.The reasons of social work intervention are mentioned as well.In Part III,the practice of the cases and the evaluation of social work intervention are detailed.In Part IV,the effect and significance of social work intervention in the construction of the accompanying elderly people’s social support network are summarized.The conclusion part summarizes the whole process of intervention and makes its own suggestions.This study takes social support network as the guiding theory,the Development-Model group work as intervention method and peer aid mutual network as the entry point to the construction.And this paper tries to explore an effective model of helping the accompanying elderly to build a new social support network.Thus,it makes the accompanying elderly adapt to urban life better.
