Group Work In The Construction Of Mutual Support Network For Elderly People Living Alone

With the rapid development of the world economy and the continuous advancement of urbanization,the population structure has been adjusted. Nowadays,in China,the aging problem is becoming more and more popular.It has become the focus and hot spot of the public concern.This study chose those elderly people who live in M community of a Affordable housing area to build a healthy,stable and long-term mutual network.In the preliminary investigation,the study explored the necessity and feasibility of the elderly people who lives alone in M community.In the middle of practice,the research has finished the group work of five elderly people and the final construction of the group work of five elderly people.In the later evaluation,the researcher integrated a host of evaluations by stages in the middle of practice.Then,the researcher investigated and analyzed the effect evaluation of group work.In the end,the researchers concluded contributions and deficiencys of group work and put forward to opinions and suggestions of building the group.In the whole group, social workers have always insisted on the social work values and ideas. They want built a healthy, effective and stable network for M community. The network is based on group work,elder people and community resource, these three things support the stable structure, which can do best to helping people living alone in the community.It is hoped that the integrated thinking and complete intervention can provide a reference for other parts of Nanjing.The research also provides practical ideas and suggestions.
