A Study On The Social Identity Of Social Work Organizations

Social work has been introduced into China for decades,it has developed rapidly in our country.The establishment of social work institutions and the development of social work services provide the third way to solve social problems.As a result,more and more people know about social work.But in fact,the development of social work institutions is not optimistic,people are less concerned about social work organizations,there are many problems about social identity of social work organizations.On the one hand,public peoples' recognize degree of social work organizations is low.They do not know much about social work organizations,such as its character,service content,orientation and so on.On another hand,social workers' recognition of social work institutions is not idealized.For example,social workers frequently skip from job to job;job burnout problem have appeared;do not care about the development of their organization.These are fatal blows to the development of social work organizations,social work institutions are an important carrier of social work services,the development and future of the organization is also related to the rise and fall of the social work industry.The social work organizations of Yuelu District in Chan gsha City was selected as the research object,mainly using the questionnaire survey and interview.The paper collected information on the public and social workers for social workers recognition from the Yuelu District.From the cognitive,emotional,evaluation and behavior four dimensions,its ope ration into the following indicators:public people's knowl edge degree,service demand,satisfaction degree.Social worker's professional value,management,development,evaluation.F rom the public and social workers two groups,to find out the crux of the development of social work organizations,and give some suitable suggestions.Enhancing the recognition of social work organizations,we may solve this problem From the social environment,organization and management,social workers three levels.First,in the social environment level.The government must formulate relevant policies,laws and regulations to provide a “ hotbed ” for social work.Social organization incubation,as the birthplace of social work,should cultivate professional social work organizations,to ensure that the social institutions of the "seedlings" is healthy.Colleges and universities should train morehigh-quality professional students of social work specialty,transport "nutrients." for the development of social work organizations.Second,in the management level.Should regulate the institutional charter,clear the scope of services,optimize the management structure of the organization and enhance the welfare of employees.the development of organizations would be stable and fast.Last but not least,in the individual level of social workers,they should firm their professional beliefs,enhance their core competitiveness,while paying attention to relax pressure in time,for the development of social work.
