With the development of social and economic,the demand of society for talent in various fields is also growing,only those high-quality talents with innovative consciousness and innovative spirit can adapt to the development of the era.For cultivating students' innovative spirit and innovation ability,we should to strengthen the cultivation of student's question consciousness.In junior middle school geography classroom teaching,if we pay more attention to cultivate students' question consciousness,then we can really realize student-oriented and teacher-led teaching mode,which can further cultivate students' innovative spirit and innovative ability.This study adopts literature analysis methods,questionnaire survey and interview methods,statistical analysis methods and teaching case methods and other research methods.And based on the theoretical basis of constructivist learning theory,cognitive learning theory,humanistic learning theory,zone of proximaldevelopment theory and discovery learning theory.Respectively,through the questionnaire survey and interviews on the second year of students and geography teachers in the junior school of The High School Attached to Hunan Normal University Bocai Experimental Middle School and Huanghua Junior School,after collate and analyze questionnaires and interview results.I found the problems that most students do not attach importance to questions,do not want to ask questions,no questions or do not dare to ask questions.And I analyzed the results of the survey from the five aspects of the students,the teachers,the system of education,the parents and the teaching materials.Finally,I puts forward some suggestions on how to strengthen the students' problem consciousness after analyzing.Firstly,we shouldcultivate the geographical literacy of students,so that students will take the initiative to ask questions;Secondly,teacher should change their methods of teaching and attitudes of education to enable students have the opportunity to ask questions;Thirdly,we should update educational goals and change the evaluational methods to enable students like to ask questions;Fourthly,we should highlight the importance of geography and deep research teaching materials to enble students ask questions actively;Finally,teaching case analysis of cultivating students' consciousness of geography.It is hoped that the study of the students' question awareness in junior middle school geography teaching can promote the students' interest in geography teaching,improve the students ' learning method,improve the quality of junior middle school geography teaching and cultivate students' thinking ability,which laying a good foundation for cultivating innovative talents.
