In September 2012,The State Council issued a document to suspend the policy of“Retreat School”,How to develop the surviving rural small-scale schools become a prominent problem in society.Faculty is the key to the impact of the rural small-scale school education quality.Therefore,it is great theoretical and practical significance to study the existence condition of teachers in rural small-scale schools.This study mainly adopts literature method and questionnaire survey method,supplemented by the interview method.Based on “ERG” requirement theory,The existence conditions of teachers in the rural small-scale school are divided into four parts:the condition of teachers' salaries,the condition of teachers' teaching work,the condition of teachers' professional identity and the condition of teachers' professional development.Taking the rural small-scale school teachers in the 9 provinces and cities in the central and western regions as the research object.At the same time,based on the comparability of the occupations between the teachers of rural small-scale schools and in the rural non-small-scale school,taking rural non-small-scale school teachers as a reference group.According to further statistical analysis of the survey data,The paper presents the basic information of teachers in the rural small-scale school,the existence condition of teachers in the rural small-scale school,the difference of existence conditions between of teachers in the rural small-scale school and the rural non-small-scale school.The study found: at present,in rural small-scale school,the salaries of teachers are still to be improved;the burden of teachers' teaching work is heavier;teachers' working environment is poor;teachers' professional identity is not strong;teachers' professional development are limited.As the same time,From the social background of urbanization;the educational background of unbalanced development of urban and rural education;the deviation of policy formulation and implementation.Finally,based on the relevant theory,the paper put forward the following five recommendations: First,completing the investment and management of rural small-scale school funding;Second,taking a variety of incentives to increase rural small-scale school teachers post attraction;Third,developing a diversified allocation standards of rural small-scale school teacher;Fourth,establishing rural small-scale schools alliance,and building a resource sharing platform;Fifth,reforming the form and content of rural small-scale school teachers' training,enhancing the training effect.
