The Strength Perspective Intervention In The Inferiority Problem Of Juvenile Delinquents Within The Community Correction

Since the beginning of twenty-first Century,the concept of people-oriented,promoting harmonious development and social progress deepens continuously in all areas of the society,the penalty system is more humane and rational,community correction system came into being.Since the development of community correction,community correction in our country has made great progress and development.On the basis of drawing lessons from domestic and international community correction development experience,all parts of the country combine the specific characteristics of the region to form community correction represented by "Beijing model",and "Shanghai model".But it also faces many problems.Previous studies generally are based on the correction object returning to society in terms of employment,family,interpersonal communication,social integration,and few studies have focused on the problem of the individual after the return of the correction object.The inferiority complex is one of the many problems which community correction object individual face.The inferiority complex is a kind of negative psychological experience,the individual is intentionally or unintentionally,and out of a self denial is not formed in the process of science and the external environment interaction,low self-evaluation mental state.Juvenile Delinquents as a special social vulnerable groups,are in a critical period,the world outlook,outlook on life,the values are not fully formed.When they return to the society,they are labeled “criminals "label by outside world and looked down upon and disagreed by other people.Self-esteem and self-confidence suffer trauma and make crime of teenagers generate inferiority complex.Long-term and sustained inferiority complex,juvenile delinquency tends to ignore individual character,underestimate the personal potential and advantage,lack of confidence and courage,forming a serious mood disorder.As a result,it has a great affect on juvenile offenders’ life and future healthy development after returning to society.In this paper,Mr.Gao in X Judicial Correction object in the C city as a case of service object,the use of case work method and theory,adhering to the concept of the value of helping people and self-help work target,theory and practice,helps the correction object change inferiority,combing the confidence of life,reasonable release of pressure,with a positive healthy life attitude to cope with life’s difficulties and challenges,to better adapt to life.This paper is focused on inferiority complex of juvenile offenders,but not think the crime young people as a problematic person and the person of no ability to change,but a positive understanding of youth crime.Starting with the youth themselves,other resources and advantages,the crime young people can correctly recognize and evaluate themselves and help them become better and improve the quality of service.Overall,through the application of the strengths perspective and case work method,on the one hand,juvenile inferiority complex has been improved significantly,and can be used in a new life with a positive and healthy attitude.On the other hand,the introduction of the strengths perspective and case work method is a major breakthrough in the work of community corrections and make community correction carry out and promote more scientific and professional.
