In this paper,the research has been carried out on the teaching modes of middle school music class from the perspective of Beatbox’s features.First,the existing research has been reviewed and the current status of middle school music education has been demonstrated.Second,a questionnaire survey has been taken about status of music class in a few middle schools.Both internal factors and external factors have been analyzed that have effects on the students during the process of music class.The internal factors include students’ interests,effectiveness and teachers’ knowledge.The external factors include the teaching materials and the effects from society.Then,according to the development trends of popular music element and some typical music education theory,the author has further demonstrated the necessity and practicability of bring the elements of popular music into the music class.Based on this research,a theory has been explored in terms of bringing the popular music elements into music class.And a tentative implementation plan has also been reached relating to teaching goals,emphases,difficulties,processes and reflection.Some advantages of this mode for students have also been summarized.Through understanding and learning novel music elements,the traditional music class will become various and colorful,which will help the students feel the appeal of popular music better.During the process of comprehending and explaining different music genres,students will have a new understanding of Beatbox and will be able to build a combining music view with both traditional and modern,domestic and domestic and alien ones.The methods provided in the research will help the students recognize the variety of Beatbox.Furthermore,it will also help the students to cultivate interests in music and get to perceive the profoundness and beauty of music around the world.
