Since ancient times,the Chinese would honor the teachers and respect their teaching.Xunzi once said,“If the country wants to be prosperous,you should respect the teachers.” Respect is an attitude based on value evaluation,people need to be recognized by the respect of others,and preschool teachers need to be recognized by others to identify their sense of value and meaning.In recent years,more and more attention has been paid to the group of preschool teachers,the purpose of this study is to analyze the real experiences of preschool teachers' sense of being respected,and the reasons behind the different experiences of preschool teachers' being respected,in order to offer the strategies to improve the preschool teachers' sense of being respected.The author consulted the basic theory,and collected and combed the related literature in China and other countries.In this paper,some semi-structured interviews were conducted among six preschool teachers from different counties and cities,and interviews were conducted to obtain the most direct,abundant and authentic information about preschool teachers' respect,so that author can effectively capture valuable information and status of preschool teachers' sense of self-esteem,in order to make a deep analysis of the situation of the sense of being respected,which make a strong and scientific basic of the study.The experiences of preschool teachers' sense of being respected shows great difference,and the experiences of negative respect is more than that of positive respect.Preschool teachers' positive experiences of the sense of being respected mainly includes three aspects: the recognition of parents that make preschool teachers feel a sense of identity,the care of head teacher of the kindergarten makes teachers feel the sense of dignity,the stability of the public kindergarten makes preschool teachers feel superior.The negative experiences of the sense of being respected mainly in the following five aspects: parents' feedback to kindergarten makes teachers feel a lack of trust,the ignorance of the head teacher that makes teachers a lack asense of belonging,the service of private garden makes preschool teachers lack the sense of identity,the ignorance of the job brings a sense of lowliness and the negative media reports make teachers feel their image is damagedThis paper analyzes the influencing factors of preschool teachers' different experiences of being respected.The study found that there are five main effects of preschool teachers' sense of being respected influencing factors: professional experience status of preschool teachers;perceptions and attitudes of parents of preschool teachers;kindergarten management;difference kindergarten properties;guide from media of social public opinion.In order to improve the level of preschool teachers' sense of being respected,we should start from the following aspects.First of all,teachers should improve their professional knowledge from the aspects of professional cognition,knowledge and experience.Secondly,the head of the kindergarten should manage the teachers in a flexible way.Thirdly,to change the concept of parents of preschool teachers.Fourth,we should improve the access threshold of preschool teachers.Finally,the media should shoulder social responsibility,to play their role leading public opinion.
