With the development of information technology,the integration of technology and education has become an irresistible trend.Therefore,the flipped classroom comes out in 2007 in America.The flipped classroom model,introduced to China in 2012,as a subversive innovation has changed the role of teachers,the role of students,time allocation of teaching and learning and knowledge carrier,bringing a huge impact on the traditional classroom,which arouses enormous responses from scholars,teachers,and parents.However,in the early stage of the flipped classroom,the relevant research is relatively few and the flipped classroom has also exposed some problems.The paper is helpful to enrich the research and find out some problems.The paper includes three research questions: 1.Can the flipped classroom improve students' learning interest or facilitate students' learning methods? 2.What abilities can be improved after the implementation of flipped classroom? 3.What shortcomings does the flipped classroom have in its implementation? What are the main factors?In this paper,the author selects students from Yantai Development Zone Experimental Middle School and teachers from a QQ group and Yantai Development Zone Experimental Middle School for the survey,based on constructivism learning theory,connectivism learning theory and mastery leaning theory,by using literature analysis,questionnaire and interview,to make a research on the current situation of the junior middle school flipped English classroom.100 students and 50 teachers are involved in the questionnaire and four teachers of different age and years of teaching are interviewed.100 copies of studens are retrieved and 100% is valid and 50 copies of teachers are collected and the validity rate is 100%.The questionnaires for students and teachers are analyzed by Microsoft Office Excel 2003 to examine the current situation of the flipped classroom and its influential factors.Through this study,the following conclusions are made: 1.The flipped classroom teaching model can stimulate students' interest in English learning,and improve student learning initiative.2.The flipped classroom teaching model can help to form good learning styles such as cooperative learning and autonomous learning.3.There are some problems in the teaching model.For example,the quality of micro-videos is relatively poor,the classroom management is difficult,the student's study burden is heavy,and teachers' stress is high.4.In view of these problems,the author has analyzed some influencing factors such as teachers' low information literacy,students' poor self-control and exam-oriented education and puts forward some reasonable suggestions.
