As an important part of English language teaching,grammar teaching plays an irreplaceable role in the students' second language acquisition.The introduction of the flipped classroom model helps teachers conduct individualized teaching,lead the students to master their own study process,cultivate the self-study capacity and broaden their visions of different culture.The main research methods of this thesis are documentation method and action method.By analyzing different flipped classroom teaching model from home and abroad,arborescent flipped classroom model is constructed,providing the new thoughts and solutions for the reform of the grammar teaching.Finally,based on the analysis of the practice effect,the thesis tried to do a summary and reflection about this research.The arborescent flipped classroom model includes three modules: autonomous learning module,cooperative learning module and reflective learning module.Moreover,each module contains three stages: autonomous learning module contains autonomous preview stage,teaching video watching stage and preview test stage;cooperative learning module contains review stage,cooperation and communication link stage and achievement exhibition stage;reflective learning module contains companions' judgment stage,teacher's judgment stage and summary and extension stage.The three modules and nine stages reinforce each other,reflecting the ideal of “student centered,teacher oriented”.The research put the arborescent flipped classroom model into practice and tried to modify and improve the whole model.Along with the analysis of the questionnaires and students' marks,this study draw some valuable conclusions: this type of the flipped classroom model can not only lower the fear of difficulty and arouse their interests in English learning,but also cultivate the students' self-study capacity and cooperative learning ability.The students' utilizing competence is improved obviously.At the end of the research,the thesis points out the fact that the arborescent flipped classroom model connects the flipped classroom model to the English teaching in China at present.It tries to fix the problems which exit in English teaching in China.What's more,the arborescent flipped classroom model refines the whole procedure of the flipped classroom method,presenting every detail of the model to help teachers and students to do the personalized teaching and achievement exhibition.
