With the rapid growth of today's society economy, people's quality of life is improving gradually. However, the parents pay much attention to children's academic record, but give too little care to children's physical quality.Especially, many parents send their kids to all kinds of interest classes and remedial classes when they are in primary school, however,at the same time, they tend to neglect children's physical quality. The fifth grade children are in the peak period of physical development. The fifth grade is a critical period to improve the sports quality of body harmony and body sensitivity,in the meantime,it also is a critical period to learn basic sports skills.Focusing on children's physical quality and the most basic athletic ability, which means sensitivity, balance ability, coordination and speed, can better improve children's athletic ability of movement, control and stability, thus laying a solid body foundation for future study and development.Exercises is getting more and more popular with general fitness enthusiasts gradually. From the perspective of sports anatomy, crawling exercises can spread the weight of the body to the limbs, thus reducing pressure load in the rest of the body. The spine bear sixty percent of body weight while standing, however, the body turns to horizontal position from upright position while crawling, which can greatly reduce the spinal load and increase the muscle strength and elasticity around the spine, thereby preventing and correcting scoliosis and kyphosis. From the perspective of sports medicine, horizontal position while crawling replaces upright position while standing, the position of body parts, such as heart and chest etc,is getting lower, which can reduce the blood pressure of the heart,at the same time,it benefits blood circulation of the whole body.Sagging head increases the blood flow volume, which has a positive role in cardiovascular disease prevention and cerebral circulation improvement. From the perspective of fitness, crawling is a generalized coordinate activity, the whole body muscles, ligaments, bones, and nervous system need to join the movement, which is beneficial to the core muscles strength training, thus improving the quality of the body movement effectively.Agility is a comprehensive sport quality, which refers to the ability that human body can change the movement posture, adjust the motor direction and adapt itself to changingcircumstances accurately in all kinds of complicated conditions.Agility is a complicated comprehensive physical quality, which has close relation with strength, speed and body harmony.Throughout the related research in this field, studies of strength, speed and endurance quality are relatively more, but studies of agility are relatively less, studies of elementary school students' agility are even more less.As an important part of athletic constitution, agility's development level is an important indicator of students' physical health level and physical education learning situation's measurement,at the same time,it's also a reflection of physical education curriculum teaching effect. In this work,by using methods of literature review, expert interview, experimentation and mathematical statistics, the research were analyzed and probed by theoretical knowledge combined with classroom practice.Using crawling exercises classroom intervention,we carried 16 weeks teaching experiment to the following students, two classes,124 students of the fifth grade in Shijiazhuang Jianming Primary School and two classes,92 students of the fifth grade in Shijiazhuang Yuhua east road Primary School. All the students were tested agility before experiment and after experiment(20 seconds repeated jump across,15 seconds stands lies the brace,4×10m shuttle run,Cross quadrant jump, catching the ball by six corner),the complete data were got and analyzed by SPSS18.0 statistically.Research results:(1)The five agility indicators have no significant difference(P>0.05)before experiment and after experiment of the comparative class, but they have significant difference(P<0.05)before experiment and after experiment of the experimental class in the two schools.(2)In the five agility indicators,15 seconds stands lies the brace,4×10m shuttle run and Cross quadrant jump have significant difference(P<0.05)between the experimental class and the comparative class in Jianming Primary School, the other two indicators,20 seconds repeated jump across and catching the ball by six corner have no significant difference(P>0.05).In Yuhua east road Primary school,15 seconds stands lies the brace,4×10m shuttle run and catching the ball by six corner have significant difference(P<0.05)between the experimental class and the comparative class,20 seconds repeated jump across and Cross quadrant jump have no significant difference(P>0.05).Research conclusions:(1)Crawling exercises have a positive impact on the improvement of the fifth grade students' agility;(2)The experiment result of the two schools have consistency, which prove that the experiment has reproducibility;(3)Crawling exercises can be appropriately carried out in the fifth grade students' physical education class in the local primary school.
