| Homework plays an important role in students’ life and it is also an essential part of their study.However,Chinese homework is always in a neglected position among the amounts of assignments.The main reason of it is that compared to other subjects,the daily Chinese homework is not closely connected to the exams,thus students can’t improve their marks quickly by doing Chinese homework.As a result,students are not willing to do Chinese homework,or they just consider it as a simple task of writing down texts,which results in the poorly completed efficiency of Chinese assignments in senior high school.The author makes a research on the completed efficiency of Chinese assignments in senior high school by combining her own teaching practice,studying the practical situation of R school in Xianghe,consulting teachers and interviewing students in the form of questionnaires.The author believes that the effective completion of homework is not a one-way activity of a teacher or a student,but it is a series of processed activities which are from basic homework,purposeful design,operative completion to the final evaluation.So the paper mainly analyzes this problem from the purpose,source,types,completed situation and evaluation of the assignments.The problem can be conculded as the following several aspects:First,the Chinese homework tends to be for the subjective purpose.Second,the type of assignment which is mainly about text copying is simplified.Third,the homework is usually only dominated by teachers.What’s more,the answers often have the same pattern which causes students to copy homework easily.Meanwhile,evaluation of homework shows a void trend.Finally,the homework lacks of systematicness.According to current situation of Chinese homework in high school,the author does a research on the completed efficiency of Chinese assignments in senior high school by choosing the most important two parts which also have the most serious problems in Chinese assignments.The two parts includes reading assignments and writing assignments which are also the focuses of this paper.In the two parts,the author brings out the opinion of reading assignments in a formal way and writing homework in a regular way.The so-called formal reading assignments is to normalize the homework with certain purpose according to specificcriteria of reading assignments.In order to make the reading assignments formal,the author proposes some beneficial strategies according to the types of reading.As for the straightforward passages,students can read them directly and as for the passages worth appreciating,students can write down the answers and as for the passages worth further exploration,students can discuss the questions in groups freely.As to the phenomenon of lacking the process of reading aloud in straightforward passages,the author mainly combines the specific examples to discusses the completion of reading from the aspects including how to assign the reading task to a teacher,and promoting the completion of homework from various forms,and normalizing the process of reading and recommending proper reading materials.While in the section of writing assignments,the author mainly advocates to make writing assignments regular and the author puts forward some operational measures like changing the forms of assignments,grasping the proper time of writing,paying attention to students’ diverse involvement and various kinds of evaluations to achieve the goal of evaluating students individually and promoting the completed efficiency of Chinese assignments. |
