Research On The Relationship Between Pro-poor Expenditure And Residential Subjective Well-being

Pro-poor expenditure is a vital financial expenditure which is related to the people's livelihood.Compared to other financial expenditure which is mainly for economic growth services,pro-poor expenditure has obvious characteristics of the pro-poor,in other words,it promotes social development in a more equitable direction and occupies a critical position.The core of this paper is to build an ordered probability model to explore the relationship between pro-poor expenditure and happiness and examine the optimal size of pro-poor expenditure.Based on income level,region and economic development level,this paper further do empirical research about the relationship between pro-poor expenditure and subjective well-being,trying to make up for the lack of domestic and foreign research in pro-poor expenditure and well-being relationship.This paper also does comprehensive study of which extend of pro-poor spending can make residents' happiness reach a optimize size and give appropriate advice.This paper explores the relationship between pro-poor expenditure and its various items and the residential happiness through four chapters.Through the first chapter,the research background and research significance can be expressed,deeply exploring how to solve happiness puzzle by increasing pro-poor expenditure.This chapter also summarizes related literature,introduces the research ideas and methods of this paper,and points out the innovation and shortage of this paper.The second chapter is the description of the current situation of subjective well-being and pro-poor expenditure,exploring the feasibility of solving happiness puzzle by increasing pro-poor expenditure.In addition,this chapter analyzes how pro-poor expenditure have effect on subjective well-being and give advices how to adjust the amount and structure of pro-poor expenditure.The third chapter is the empirical analysis of pro-poor expenditure.Firstly,we this paper analyzes how pro-poor expenditure have influence on subjective well-being by constructing an orderly probability model,mainly focusing on the influence of components of pro-poor expenditure on subjective well-being.Secondly,this paper analyzes how pro-poor expenditure influences on subjective well-being according to the relative income level,region,and economic development level.Finally,this paper examine whether the optimistic pro-poor expenditure exist.Chapter 4 makes policy recommendations based on the above status analysis and empirical conclusions.This paper have the following conclusions:(1)the pro-poor expenditure has a significant effect on the residents' subjective well-being.(2)Social security expenditure and education expenditure have positive effect on residential happiness,while medical expenditure has a hindrance to residential happiness.(3)The level of subjective well-being of low-income population is affected stronger by education and social security expenditure.The improvement of residential happiness level in the eastern region mainly benefited from education expenditure,and the improvement of residential happiness level in the central region mainly benefited from society and the improvement of the well-being level of the residents in the western region mainly benefited from medical expenses.The pro-poor expenditure would be more effective in improving the well-being of the residents in the underdeveloped areas.Underdeveloped areas is more likely to depend on social security spending and medical expenses,while developed regions prefer education spending.(4)The optimal pro-poor expenditure per capital is 4359.99.This paper analyzes the influence of pro-poor expenditure on subjective well-being empirically.From the prospective of the optimization of fiscal expenditure structure,this paper analyzes how pro-poor expenditure and components of pro-poor expenditure have influence on subjective well-being so as to enhance subjective well-being.
