With the development of the popularization and diversification of higher education,in the context of diversified demand of talents,the government continuously guides the ordinary undergraduate colleges that have conditions to transform to applied undergraduate colleges,and promote the development of higher education to become diversified.It is a system reform to transformate from local undergraudate colleges to applied colleges,as an important link of teaching,graduation design is facing with the challenge of transforming.A single form of graduation thesis can not meet the social demand for diverse talents,the graduation design must be reformed.According to the form and content,graduation design can be divided into two classes,design and thesis.The design class emphasis on solving the problem,the thesis type is mainly induction,summary,analysis of the professional knowledge field and the basic theory research.The innovation of graduation design should emphasize the designability of the graduation thesis,let the students find problems in the practice initiatively,solve the problem,apply professional theory knowledge into practice and exercise students' problem solving ability,the ability of application and innovation,so as to achieve the applied talents training goal.The problems of graduation design of applied undergraduate colleges and universities mainly display in the following points:The first one is the single form of graduation design.The main form is graduation thesis,it is not consistent with applied colleges and professional training targets.The second one is lack of the value of practical application,it does not close contact with the actual production.Third,the structure of graduation design guidance team is single,it lacks of enterprise senior engineers and technical personnel.The fourth is that the time arrangement of graduation design is unreasonable,time is too concentrated and easy to cause conflict with other activities.The fifth is the graduation design quality supervision mechanism is not perfect,evaluation standard is single and quality monitoring system is not sound.It ignores the process evaluation,it is not good for specialized and diversified personnel training.Graduation design of applied undergraduate colleges should follow the principles:the first one is that it should follow the principle of consistent with the training goal,the second is it should follow the principle of diversification,the third is it should follow the principle of practicality,the fourth is it should follow the principle of flexible.The specific content of the innovation of applied undergraduate graduation design has the following points:the first one is the innovative forms of graduation design.Graduation design can be combined with professional characteristics.It can have the form of professional skills,graduation thesis,project results,program planning and soon,choosing different forms for different professionals.The second is it should combine with production practice to enhance the practicality of graduation design and show the students' ability level.The graduation design topic will closely linked to actual production,graduation design will be done in practice,it will have a stable practice base.The third is the guidance of graduation design will have to innovate,optimize the structure of guider teachers,multi-party participation will guide the graduation design.The fourth is that it should make graduation design schedule more reasonable,setting the link of graduation design flexibly,guarantee enough time for completing the graduation design.The fifth is it should improve the management mechanism of quality of graduation design in order to improve the quality of graduation design.
