MOOC is the massive open online courses,carrying out teaching on the Internet,the process is online,including online courses teaching services,online classroom discussion and interaction,and after-class homework evaluation,etc.It is based on Internet information technology to collect the global quality of various professional learning resources,with large scale,open,interactive and evaluation functionality learning platform.As long as there is a computer which can connect to the Internet,the people can transcend time and space and enjoy high quality professional curriculum resources of world's top universities professor and his team freely,MOOC breaks the bottleneck of the traditional education teaching system with an open,shared idea,and brings more chances to people accessing to a high-quality education,and promotes the democratization of education,and changes the distribution of education resources.MOOC makes more high quality education resources to be open to the public in the form of a low cost and high efficiency.In 2013,MOOC was developed in China,a series of researches about its impact on higher education appear gradually.The development of MOOC has a profound impact on higher education in colleges and universities.At the same time,library as an important part of university,it has close relation with MOOC.At present,in order to adapt for the trend of its development and meet the opportunity and the challenge,libraries of universities joins the wave of MOOC's development with advantages,and carry out related services to promote the development of university library.This article selects the 985 project universities as the research objects,meaning to analyze the present stage and situation of 985 university libraries MOOC service development,and takes Peking university,University of science and technology of China and Nanjing university libraries' experiences as examples to analyze the challenges and weakness of MOOC service;and puts forward some corresponding countermeasures of perfecting our 985 university libraries MOOC service and advice as well.It is for our country's construction and development of the university library MOOC service to provide power.It can show us from seven aspects upon investigation and analysis of the 985 project universities library MOOC service:The first part:introduction.It mainly elaborates the research background of the subject and MOOC's basic concepts,features of class and main platform MOOC at home and abroad.It also contained domestic and foreign literature review,research methods and research ideas.The second part:the necessity and feasibility analysis of MOOC services of our country university library.The necessity analysis include the popularity of the Internet and the development of information technology,and the advantages of university library in the development of the MOOC and MOOC development cannot leave the participation of university library.The feasibility analysis include the university libraries as the course content providers,multimedia production guiders and place providers,to emphasize MOOC and the development of the library can promote each other together.The third part:from the three aspects to analyze the present situation of our 985 university libraries' MOOC service.The first aspect is construction situation about MOOC platform of 985 project university library,the second aspect is construction situation about MOOC course of 985 project university library,the third aspect is MOOC service contents of 985 project universities libraries,including publicizing MOOC,recommending MOOC,establishing MOOC study group,providing MOOC learning place.The fourth part:taking Peking university,University of science and technology of China and Nanjing university libraries as examples to analyze MOOC service experiences.It can provide a reference for our country to participate in the construction of MOOC in university library.The fifth part:through the investigation and analysis about MOOC service of 985 university libraries and combination with the four cases of university libraries to analyze the challenges of MOOC service in our country university libraries,mainly including:the lack of attention and awareness,the problem of MOOC open resources of copyright and licensing,the differences between the information literacy of MOOC learning effect and the lack of professional MOOC literacy librarians.The sixth part:in order to perfect MOOC service of university libraries in China,author put forward the strategies to deal the challenge,mainly including:set up the correct service idea,strengthen the propaganda promotion MOOC;provide the relevant copyright consulting services to ensure the rational use of resources;actively participate in MOOCs,and assist with MOOC services;strive to make MOOC classes and embed information literacy education;strengthen MOOC team construction,improve MOOC literacy of librarians finally.The seventh part:conclusion,comprehensive the investigation and analysis of 985 university libraries MOOC service in China and outlook the future of Chinese college libraries' MOOC services.
