If students can not complete the university adaptation,they may lose interests in academic,with participation in the reduction.The adaptation problem of college freshmen has become a concern of society as a whole.The study found that dropout problems and poor university performance were related to the fact that students were not well adapted to the university.How to make it possible for students to successfully complete the transition from high school to university,and to better meet the university's study and life is worthy of attention.Most of the current researches focus on the promotion of new students' overall adaptation to college life through kinds of courses,ideological and political lessons,etc.These measures help students to adapt to the university atmosphere as a whole,but the most important activity for students is the classroom "learning".Many studies have shown that the adaptation of students in various disciplines,engineering students in the study of adaptation have more problems than students in other disciplines.Exploring the engineering students'adaptation tproblems has a strong practical significance.Based on the above situation,the main purpose of this study is to clarify how the courses of freshmen in engineering universities can be better adapted to learning.How they can successfully complete the transition from high school to university.Including the following three specific research questions(1)what aspects do freshmen in engineering disciplines performance when they learn new course?(2)What are the reasons for these problems in the student's perspective?(3)How to better promote freshman engineering to learn new curriculum?According to the results of the questionnaire analysis,the students' posterior test scores are lower than the pre-test show that the students have the problem of curriculum study.The questionnaires were collected in total 208.The samples were all in the D College of Engineering of N university.We released the same questionnaires twice,before and after the semester.According to the questionnaire analysis results,50 students were interviewed.the main contribution is:the first discovery is that new college students have adaptation problems,as follows:1,test anxiety,they hope teachers would better do more lectures and give them more assignments to help them prepare examination.2,students face the outstanding learners with complex feelings.On the one hand,students face these outstanding learners as high school teacher with worship of emotion and behavior.On the other hand they feel the pressure by these excellent learners.3,the strange feeling on language of the C language.Because of the weak degree of convergence with high school curricula,students show fear and behavioral burnout for learning C language.The second focuses on the learner's perspective for the analysis of the causes,for most of these students high school did not contact the course of learning are the main factors including:previous learning experience,interest,and the input of such courses.Third,we put forward the corresponding recommendations.Including 0-year-plan courses(between high school and university courses)to contain the programming language courses to help students go through the strange period;giving moderate assignments to increase student engagement.
