A Study On The Phenomenon Of College Students "Shield Parents" In Social Networks

Social networking refers to WeChat,QQ,micro-blog and a series of Internet applications and services designed to help people build social nodes,weave social structure,expand the scope of the community.With the continuous development of social network platform,the popularity of smart mobile phone,not only college students love the social network,more and more parents to join their children in the social network,the result of the collision of old and new one is to build communication and interaction more convenient and new parent-child relationship exchange platform,on the other hand is increasingly prominent “shielding parents” phenomenon,many college students choose to parents in addition to their “circle of friends”.In order to understand the students and their parents on the use of social networks and the status of “shielding parents” in this paper,four undergraduate students in Colleges and universities of Nanchang area as the research object,through multi stage random sampling method,collected students' social network the first hand data for basic situation,and parents in the social network interaction and the current situation and influence factors of shielding parents,by means of statistical data analysis software SPSS18.0 and Excel were analyzed,and the corresponding analysis,descriptive analysis,one-way ANOVA,chi square test,nonparametric test,factor analysis,two Logistic regression analysis and other statistical methods,in order to obtain objective findings.Through the survey found that the social network has become an indispensable part of college life,they released about his daily life content in the above;60% of the respondents said they would contact with their parents at least once a week at a time,of which 38.8% of people are more willing to take WeChat,QQ and other social networks to communicate with their parents;66.5% of respondents with their parents as friends however,poor interaction between the two sides has been added;their parents as friends of the respondents,41.5% said the shielding of parents,of which nearly 60% of people said after the meeting of shielding than before more freedom,there are nearly 40% of people said that little difference in feeling.“Parent-child relationship”,“environmental impact”,“will”,“parents' way of reply”,“release content” five factors have an impact on whether or not to shield their parents.Tension,relationship with their parents around the common phenomenon,shielding parents are reluctant to let parents see their content posted on social networks,parents often in didactic tone,often comment on the social network released about the life of an individual,will make the respondents parents than larger screen.Finally,based on the results of the survey analysis,in the perspective of parents proposed not to lecture their social network,tone of comments for the children to stay a little personal space,and strengthen children's communication;in the children's perspective presented do not blindly follow the trend of shielding parent,consider what you really need freedom,or freedom of form,take a more flexible way to fight for their own personal space and suggestions.
