| With the development of society and the improvement of educational level, the number of students in colleges and universities is increasing, and the social environment faced by college students is becoming more and more complex.Contemporary college students have more academic, employment, emotional and other pressures. In a complex and changing environment, their psychological quality is the key.The mental health of college students is not only beneficial to the development of students themselves, but also of significance to the country and even the whole nation,so it is of great value to study the factors that have influence on college students’mental health. There are many factors that have influence on college students’mental health. This paper divides them into two parts, one for demographic characteristics(including gender, grade, origin, major, and other basic personal information),and the other part for the daily life of students(this part measures the student’s personal personality, personal ability, external pressure etc).The?~2 test,Logistic regression, structural equation model are used in this paper.First of all,the?~2 test is used to analyze the13 demographic characteristics, and the results show that whether they were admitted to the ideal university has influence on the mental health of college students.Subsequently, the 13 factors are used as the independent variable, the mental health of college students is used as the dependent variable in Logistic regression. The regression results show that only whether they were admitted to the ideal university enters the regression equation, the OR value of it is 0.605.Next,we use Logistic regression, structural equation model to analyze the impact of lifestyle habits on college students’mental health. In Logistic regression, the 18 questions in the questionnaire are used as independent variable directly, the final regression equation contains two arguments, and its regression coefficient can be reasonably explained. We use the structural equation model to study the subject continually. In the structural equation model, the 18 questions in the questionnaire are observed variables, personal personality, personal ability and external pressure are unobserved variables(independent variable)and the mental health of college students is the final dependent variable. The results of structural equation model show that individual ability and external pressure are important factors affecting college students’mental health, and the influence of external pressure is greater. Finally, according to the conclusions,we give targeted recommendations. The mental health education for college students requires the school, the family and their own efforts. The school should strengthen the academic and employment guidance to college students and to help them improve their ability, and have a deeper understanding of themselves and society. The parents need to communicate with them to understand their problems and help them solve questions. In addition, college students should also enhance their personal ability, and adapt to the real society positively. |
