In today's complex society,many negative cultures which are not conducive to the youth's healthy growth keep emerging.School is a place of imparting knowledge and educating students.Not only is the school responsible for disseminating excellent culture,but also it cultivates the youth to become the "new persons with four havings" that keep pace with the development of our time.So constructing rich campus culture is the main task of the school.It is notable that a school should establish its own characteristics and win its reputation.Primary and secondary students are in the critical period of physical and psychological development.They have high plasticity,strong desire for knowledge,strong curiosity,poor discrimination ability and they are easy to be affected by the external environment.Creating a good campus culture can not only promote the healthy growth of students,sublimate the soul of the school,but also improve the school civilization level.According to the ethnic composition of school,development background of school and its advocated core spirit,schools in minority area should position their campus culture.They need to construct campus culture with national characteristics rather than copy others.By using documentary method,questionnaire and on-site investigation,this paper aims to analyse the current situation of campus culture of primary and secondary school in ethnic minority areas,finding out the existing problems and then putting forward specific countermeasures and suggestions in accordance with the actual situation,providing valuable references for other schools' campus culture construction in minority areas.This paper is divided into six parts:The first part covers the reason of choosing this subject,research purposes,research significance,core concepts and literature review.The second part is mainly about the theoretical discussion that includes connotation of campus culture,main functions of campus culture of primary and secondary school,significance and value of schools' campus culture.The third,fourth,fifth parts are the main body of this paper.The third part is to analyse the four sample schools' current situation of campus culture.The fourth part is to explore problems and reasons of the current construction of campus culture from five dimensions.The fifth part is to propose valuable countermeasures for each dimension.The last part is a conclusion of this paper that mainly generalize the research results and inadequacies of this papar.
