The rapid development of information revolutionarily influences the development of higher education,which extends the field of each element in education system,breaks the boundary between time and space and makes knowledge available everywhere to learn.On one hand,teachers are not the only producers of knowledge and pedagogic ability is continually endowed with new contents and proposed new requirements;on the other hand,either to preempt the highland of competition field of education informatization or to realize the construction of double top” of colleges and universities or to conform to national medium and long-term education plan,it is an inevitable choice for colleges and universities to increase teachers' pedagogic ability to meet the challenges in information age,to guarantee the quality of education and to realize the professional development of teachers.Based on the above environmental situation of colleges and universities,this paper makes quantitative and qualitative research by methods of document nalysis,questionnaire,interview,observation and so on.First of all,the author states the current status at home and abroad of both teachers' pedagogic ability and informational pedagogic ability;secondly,the author compares the differences between teachers' pedagogic ability in information background and traditional pedagogics,arranges related concepts and re-defines the connotations;thirdly,the author expounds some related theories to support the development of teachers' information pedagogic ability,including teachers' professional development theory,systematic science theory,TPACK theory and academic theory;and finally,based on the theoretical discussion,comprehensively considering various factors which may impact on teachers' pedagogic ability such as external and personal factors,the author designs questionnaire corresponding to current status of teachers' pedagogic ability as well as cognition of information education.And then data analysis is made by SPSS software to find out the related factors influencing teachers' pedagogic ability and the differences in teachers group's cognitions.After finding problems and deficiencies in education backgrounds,pedagogic beliefs,pedagogic concepts,pedagogic cognitions,pedagogic behaviors,pedagogic skills of current teachers of colleges and universities in information age,the author,from bothinternal and external aspects,analyzes the factors which restrict the increasing of teachers' pedagogic ability.And furthermore,from three views of macroscopic,the middle and microcosmic,the author summarizes related strategy which has practical significance on improving teachers' pedagogic ability and illustrates specifically.
