In the context of lifelong learning,construction of learning society and new curriculum reform,this paper explores the current situation of field learning of Chinese teachers,existing problems and causes from the perspective of theoretical analysis and field visit,in combination with changes in knowledge,development of learning theories,school-based learning&research and other microcosmic changes in educational system.Moreover,it also proposes countermeasures for the improvement of teachers' field learning ability in the following four aspects.First of all,this paper analyzes and sorts out relevant literature about teachers'field learning at home and abroad;moreover,it defines relevant terms,including teachers' learning,teachers' field learning and so on,and sets forth the theoretical basis and characteristics of teachers' field learning,so as to a logical starting point for the research.Secondly,the paper conducts a field study on the field learning situation and existing problems of primary and secondary school teachers.It conducts a questionnaire survey and in-depth interview of a sample of primary and secondary school teachers and explores the current situation of these teachers' field learning and existing problems.It founds that these teachers are not fully prepared for field learning and their views and behaviors of field learning shall be changed and improved;teachers are not closely communicated with each other and have weak connection with the outside world,so the cooperation among teachers and between teachers with outside world has not yet formed;teachers are busy with their teaching work,places and resources for learning are not enough,and free and cozy environment for learning remains to be built;the regulations,systems,assessment,motivation measures and management ability of teachers' field learning need to be adjusted and improved.Thirdly,this paper also analyzes the causes to the existing problems in teachers'field learning from four perspectives,including subjective factors,cultural factors,environmental factors and system factors.Fourthly,strategies of improving teachers' field learning are proposed in this paper.This research argues that teachers should take initiative to conduct field learning regularly;they should cooperate with each other in field learning;relevant management should provide cozy environment and enough places for teachers to conduct field learning;school management should establish relevant systems and support teachers' field learning.It hopes that teachers' field learning will be improved depending on the above measures,so as to promote the professional capability and quality of teachers.
