The education developing with technology tends to emphasis more on hands-on ability and more activity-based learning.Maker Education is a product of the rapid technology development in the current era,which results from marriage of maker culture and educatio n.Traditional curriculum is more textbook oriented,and Maker curriculum values the philosophy of ’learn by doing’.With the practical education,the students can make a great deal of progress on interdisciplinary problem-solving skills,collaboration and innovation,which stimulates students’ interest in learning,promoting creativity and encouraging sharing.With the development of Maker Education,the Ministry of education also encourages active exploring of Maker Education models.In order to implement Maker Education in basic education,Maker Education needs to gradually move beyond activity towards curriculum,which offers a way of implementation for Maker Education.The main objective of Maker curriculum is to develop students’ Key competencies of designing,manufacturing and solving problems,which mainly fuses multidisciplinary knowledge to solve real problems in integrated practice activity.The current study employs case study method and literature research method.Based on the literature review of the related research in both aboard and domestic to picture the current research situation and the latest progress of Maker Education,the author studies carefully on the definitions of Maker,Maker movement,Maker-space,Maker Education and so on.Focusing on Maker curriculum development practice and outcomes,this study also analyses,compares and synthesizes the choosen typical cases of Maker Curriculum development of Wenzhou Middle School,Baochu Pagoda Experimental School Hangzhou and C hangzhou Rainbow Primary School,so as to propose frame and provide beneficial reference and suggestions for the related maker curriculum development.Its impaction needs to be observed in practice,and further research should be carried out to promote effective development of maker curriculum.
