At present,more and more middle school students told their teacher that they feel more difficult to learn mathematics.In the classroom,the students of junior high school often can not understand the situation,and even they just understand the teacher's taught right now,after class,class assignment problems sets will appear in all kinds of errors.Based on the comparison and statistics of primary and junior high school mathematics textbooks,it is found that the increase of the number of mathematical symbols in junior high school textbooks is one of the main reasons.In this study,we will find out the problems and difficulties of students in understanding and using mathematical symbols,and combine with the actual situation,from the two aspects of teachers and students,put forward effective training strategies.Develop the students' consciousness of mathematical symbols is the compulsory education mathematics curriculum standards(2011 edition)request,it is important tool to the student to solve practical problems with mathematics thought,is also a path to inspire the student to find the beauty of mathematics.Based on reading a lot of domestic and foreign scholars in the literature analysis,I divided the connotation of ‘symbolic consciousness' into three dimensions----symbol understanding,symbol representation,symbol operation,and it is subdivided into seven aspects,in-depth analysis of the specific requirements in various aspects.On this basis,and detailed analysis of the connotation of symbolic consciousness one by one.Junior high school students in Xinxiang area using the people's Education Press edition mathematics textbook published as the research object,from a key middle high school and an ordinary high school,each taking a grade nine class questionnaire.And some of the students for the observation and interview,observation research object state when fill in the questionnaire,and choose some students to interview after fill in the questionnaire,asking them to fill in the questionnaire of psychological state and confusion in the normal course of mathematics learning and ideas,make to gather information for more comprehensive,make supplement to quantitative research.By the survey questionnaire reflects the development of students' consciousness of mathematical symbols difficulties mainly exist the following several aspects:(1)the understanding of the nature of mathematical symbols;(2)application classification discuss ideas;(3)symbol language transformation;(4)algebraic expression of the solution,etc.In clear the importance of developing students' consciousness of mathematical symbols,find the problem existing in the development of students' consciousness of mathematical symbols,this paper combines are junior high school mathematics textbooks,interviewing respondents and a half-year internship practice experience,the writer gives the strategy of developing student's consciousness of mathematical symbols.Teachers should first raise their math is put forward,to improve its recognition and understanding of mathematical symbols,in the process of teaching time pay attention to the specification to use mathematical symbols,to understand the importance of symbolic computation on students,symbolic reasoning training and change the traditional teaching methods,to cultivate students' consciousness of the symbol sense into their own teaching;.Students should improve their mathematical symbols understanding and attention,the establishment of the wrong questions,and to rely on mathematical symbols to construct knowledge network math.
