| This paper is the study for middle school music teachers to use Body Language to assist education in class.It researches and discusses whether middle school music teachers can use Body Language in class,how they use Body Language and what problems in the process of application are possible.Body Language is one type non-semantic language.There are two definite advantages in using it in middle school classes.First,it’s simple and interesting.Second,it clearly transforms intangible music concepts into visible movement experience.Thereafter,Body Language establishes tacit relationship between music teachers and students and enables teachers to use education materials and music notation creatively.They transform the professional music concepts such as pitch and rhythm to the visible and imitable contents with Body Language.The creativity of teachers and students are stimulated simultaneously and the positive cycle development of learning and teaching at the same time is formed.Music is more featured with rhythm compared to other disciplines and teaching skills should be applicable finally.Thus,this paper mainly covers the following research topics in combination with music teaching practice and research results.First,it defines what Body Language is,it is one of teaching skills.Teachers are required to have language competence in class and have the capacity to combine oral expression with Body Language.The Body Language mentioned here is the core of this paper.Its concepts include contents of Body Language.The research on Body Language can enrich teaching skills for music teachers.Second,it analyzes the current status of Body Language in application in middle school music classes based on research results and education practice.Third,there are theoretical ground and advantages for the application of Body Language in middle school music classes.Body Language is one teaching skill for music teachers and can be proved with theories about the scientifically and feasibility.Fourth,it analyzes the limitations of Body Language in middle school music classes.Fifth,it analyzes the application advantages of Body Language in middle school music classes with cases.The key advantage of Body Language to assist education is to transform music concepts to concrete contents which are visible and experiential for students.Sixth,it conceives the development model for Body Language and the innovative promotion for middle school music education,and thus benefiting the music teaching practice in middle school. |
