| The body is the physical and mental foundation for teachers to fulfill their fundamental duty of teaching.The more teachers know about the body,the more effective it can be used on teaching quality by applying it more functionally.The emphasis on the body expression of teachers in class allows the teacher’s body to speak,making silent body and audible languages complement each other,which is an inherent requirement for the construction of a class with high quality.Primary school music class is especially visual and emotional at the particular stage of children’s physical and mental development,which sets higher requirements and bigger urgent on teachers’ body expression.It is worthy of an in-depth study by educators that being a nurturing resource,the primary school music teacher’s body expressions,including facial expressions,body movements,physical gestures,hairstyles,and others can assist in teaching in class combined with audible language as support to jointly play the function of educating people and achieve the value of teaching.This thesis analyzes the theoretical connotations of teachers’ body expression in the class based on a literature review.Out this,this thesis takes a few teachers as research targets in Y city and mainly studies the ought-to-be development of body expression in the primary music teacher’s class concerning the characteristics of the curriculum through empirical methods of class observation and interview surveys,and other under the prerequisite of fully understanding the current state of body expression in primary school music teachers’ class.In the meantime,the author conducts a theoretical exploration of the realization of the value of body expression in the music teacher’s class following the implementation standards of China’s Compulsory Music Curriculum by the attempt to draw a portrait of the body expression of teachers at the primary school music classes in Y city.According to the research,teachers are enabled to further cultivate students’ abilities to perceive,express,and create music by accurately using the body expression as support in class combined with integrating the psychological characteristics of primary school students with the music books.It can also enhance the relationships between teachers and students but make students more interested in music and improve the teaching quality,moreover,students can thus cultivate good aesthetics for their healthy physical and mental growth.Besides,whether the teachers in primary school music teaching can apply body expression properly may affect the results.If used in the wrong way,it is unfavorable to achieving the teaching objectives but brings a negative impact on student’s physical and mental development.After studying the problems and reasons,this thesis provides some suggestions accordingly,firstly,music teachers should attach great importance to the role of body expressions;secondly,music teachers are supposed to avoid the negative effects of body expressions;thirdly,they should try to bring out the positive sides of body expression. |
