The education of school is to foster students who can think independently.The new curriculum reform pays more attention to the development of students' independence and autonomy,and trains to cultivate innovative talents.In recent years,the school has been changing the way of educating and teaching in order to promote the comprehensive development of students,and the innovative talents need to have a good quality of thinking.The cultivation of students' thinking quality runs through the whole course of study and process,and the basic education stage is the critical period of cultivating students' thinking quality.The quality of thinking mainly includes five aspects:profoundness,flexibility,creativity,criticality and agility.Considering that the critical thinking of students in the primary school stage has not yet been developed,the research of primary school students' thinking quality mainly focuses on four aspects,such as profoundness,flexibility,creativity and agility.Silent thinking is an important means to cultivate students' thinking quality,and teaching method of silent thinking is that takes silent thinking as a means or teaching method,through a series of silent thinking activities such as silent listening,tasting,reading,writing,practicing,thinking,etc.And the subject content is as the carrier,to promote the development of students thinking quality.The teaching method of silent thinking is order to cultivate students' thinking quality,the teachers and students adopted this means in the teaching activities,both including teaching methods and learning methods,which is the unity of the teaching and learning methods.With the development of silent thinking teaching method is good for teachers to change the mode of teaching and improve the efficiency of classroom teaching;on the other hand,the method is beneficial for students to think actively,develop thinking and consolidate classroom knowledge.At present,the research on silent thinking teaching methods mostly concentrated on the importance of silent thinking and the teaching method of silent thinking,etc.There are very few discussion in the combination silent thinking teaching method and elementary students' thinking quality.This study based on the age characteristics of thinking development,learning curriculum and constructivist learning theory as the theoretical basis,using literature method,survey method,case method and other research methods.Taking Guangxi County of Yangshuo F primary school as the experimental school,making the questionnaire about pupils thinking quality and the activity plan of silent thinking teaching,and having a deep observation on the silent thinking classroom.This paper analyzes the effect of silent thinking teaching method in the cultivation of students' thinking quality and sums up the experience of silent thinking teaching and analyzes the shortcomings of the existing problem.On the basis of this puts forward suggestions and countermeasures,which provides practical experience for the development of silent thinking teaching,provides blueprint for other schools to develop the silent thinking teaching and promotes the development of students' thinking quality.The main content of this paper is composed of following parts:The introduction part,a brief introduction to the origin and background of the research topic,through the literature method to understand the general situation of the teaching method of silent thinking and students' thinking quality at home and abroad,expounds the purpose and significance of the study,and a description of the study relates to the theoretical basis,related concepts,research ideas and methods.The first part that explores the thought origin of the teaching method of silent thinking in Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism,psychology and pedagogy.From the silent sitting or meditation of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism can also be a glimpse of the existence of silent thinking,in the process of silent sitting or meditation achieved self-cultivation,physical fitness,and enlightenment by wisdom and realized the true meaning of life.Meditation in psychology can reduce people's negative emotions,relieve stress,improve mental strength,and focus attention.Taking meditation as a course is important to improve physical and mental health.The silent thinking of pedagogy is introduced into teaching as part of the theory of the humanistic value education,emphasizing the use of techniques such as "silent sitting" and"creative imagination" in the classroom in order to concentrate the attention of students and stimulate learning motivation.In the second part,staring from the quality of thinking profundity,creativity and agility in four aspects,expounds the relationship between silent thinking and pupils' thinking quality:silent thinking is conducive to the development of thinking depth,breadth and difficulty;silent thinking is advantaged to the development of students to extrapolate,summarizing the migration ability;the development of silent thinking to students' creative and innovative ability;silent thinking is helpful to improve students' thinking of reaction rate.The third part,it was investigated from the investigation questionnaires of quality of thinking second,fourth and the sixth grade students in Guangxi County of Yangshuo F primary school that the profoundness,flexibility and creative performance of the school students were good and the agility of thinking was better.There are some problems in the development of students' thinking quality,which mainly lacks the depth,breadth and difficulty of thinking;the general ability of migration is weak and the lack of creativity and innovation ability;the agility of thinking is general.The fourth part,explored the situation of carrying out of silent thinking teaching methods in the F primary school,according to current situation of the development of students' thinking quality,developing silent thinking teaching plan and cooperating with teachers of F elementary school to implement the silent thinking teaching plan,and formed some excellent silent thinking teaching experiment class.After the implementation of a semester by using silent thinking teaching method,the teachers' awareness of teaching silent thinking is improved to promote the cultivation of students' thinking quality;the improvement of teachers' ability of reflection is conducive to the promotion of silent thinking teaching methods;students grasp the meditation method batter and the thinking width,depth and difficulty of student is obviously improved;students are to extrapolate,summarized the migration ability to ascend,the students'ability of creation,innovation is developed,and the agility of students' thinking has a certain development.The teaching method of silent thinking in the implementation has made some achievements,but there are still some problems in the implementation process,such as teachers are lack of the theoretical knowledge of silent thinking teaching method and thinking quality;silent thinking teaching process estimation and pertinence is not strong;students' learning method is single and lack of flexibility;teachers on the lack of monitoring of silent thinking activities;the development of students' creative thinking is still lacking.The fifth part,According to the existing problems of the teaching method of silent thinking,the author puts forward some suggestions:strengthen teachers' related theoretical guidance of silent thinking teaching method and thinking quality;in the process of silent thinking teaching according to their aptitude;combination the silent thinking learning method with other methods;strengthen the monitoring of teachers to silent thinking activities and pay attention to the development of students' creative thinking and continue to maintain a good habits of silent thinking.The conclusion part,according to the article summarized the content of study and reflection,points out existing deficiencies in this study:the teaching activities plans of silent thinking involves only Chinese and math subjects,so it must be further study of other subjects;the research has achieved certain effect,but the teaching method of silent thinking duration is short,which still need to continue to observe.
