An Investigation Into The Mathematical Thinking Involved In Mathematics Teaching Of Function

Mathematics is known as the gym of thinking. The object of Secondary school mathematics education is students and the education objective is to develop student's thinking, for the fundamentality objective of mathematics teaching is to improve thinking ability, thinking quality, thinking method. Mathematics teaching is mathematical thinking activity teaching, and it's virtually a course of learning mathematician thinking activity production, improve mathematics thinking, transform mathematics thinking structure through mathematician thinking activity. In this paper, taking the teaching of function for example using literature analysis, lessons, the significance,characteristics and the process coming into being of mathematics thinking, the theory of principia and content about mathematical thinking teaching related to a certain analysis, based on this through the discussion with the other teachers, in conjunction with my own teaching practice of function, I summarized about thinking ability,thinking quality and thinking method, and offered some strategies.This article is divided three parts. The first part: The question proposed; The second part: The investigation on the theory of mathematics thinking; The third part: The investigation on the practice of mathematics thinking teaching. The author thought that the full text the core should be the third about the investigation on the practice of mathematics thinking teaching with example in function, and the investigation of the mathematics thinking is the center of the mathematics teaching investigation. So a question worthy of discussion in mathematics teaching is how to develop the mathematics thinking of students and how to foster thinking ability,thinking quality and thinking method of the students.
