With the development of the curriculum reform,the competence of teacher has been paid more and more attention by the researchers.it is supposed to including the literature competence of elementary Chinese language teacher.However,the existing research results do not have profound systematic study on the literature competence of elementary Chinese language teacher.This research attempts to use literature,surveys,interviews and other research methods to explore the literary competence of elementary Chinese language teacher.It is supposed to believe that the literary competence of elementary Chinese language teacher is the essential literary competence in the daily practical teaching work.It contains literary knowledge,literature theory,literary acceptance,literature selection and Literary creation.The literary competence of teachers affects their professional competence and Chinese competence as well as the monolithic quality of Chinese education.Through the investigation,it is found that the current literature competence of elementary Chinese language teacher has some characteristics.The characteristics contain the strong interest in readings,the preference for reading literature works,and having the confidence attitude in the level of literacy competence and others.However,the statistical analysis shows that the literature competence level of elementary Chinese language teacher is not optimistic.And there are some problems which were the lacking of the promoting initiative for the literature competence,the short of the methods and approach and other factors.Therefore,it is suggested that we should think highly of the literature education of normal students,stimulate the initiative of the literature learning of teachers,and create a good campus atmosphere to promote the literary accomplishment.
