Research On The Teaching Of Children’s Literary Works With Animals In Primary School

Children’s literary works with animals are deeply loved by primary school students.Its author has a good grasp of children’s psychological characteristics and cognitive style.Those stories about the living conditions and growing environment of animals correspond to the psychological changes of children during the process of growing up. And it can bring about children’s emotional response, help children grow up. The research first investigates the compiling and content features of these works in Chinese textbooks of primary schools.In terms of compiling arrangement,literary works with animals as subject take up a large proportion of the whole textbook, cover a wide range of topics and display diversified styles.With respect to content,these works can be divided into three categories,each focusing on lecturing,knowledge and ecological moral values respectively.Then,this paper conducts a general analysis of the current teaching and scheduling problem.it finds out that literary works with animals have the problem of adult tendency, lacking children-orientation, valuing reasonable interest and scoring tastes. But on the teaching level, many teachers ignored the characteristics of students’ psychology,features of literary works with animals, the integration and use of different textbooks. On this basis,combining the theory of pedagogy and psychology, this paper puts forward suggestions for the teaching of literary works with animals. It points out that the practical teaching should focus on prototype education, Chinese ability education and life education. It should strengthen the close relationship between students and nature; enrich the students’ life experience. So we can ultimately promote the development of students’ language ability.
