Objectives: This article will be more than the standard weight of adults divided into two categories of overweight and obesity,and to them as subjects,by access to different body mass index of obesity and overweight adult energy metabolism related literature,overweight and obese subjects The energy metabolism of the overweight and obese adults was compared and analyzed.The differences of energy metabolism and substrate consumption in overweight and obese adults were compared and analyzed.The energy metabolism characteristics of overweight and obese adults at different sex and different exercise intensity were discussed.For the different body mass index of body weight over the standard weight of adults to provide more accurate and scientific control and weight loss recommendations and theoretical basis.Methods: The subjects are 17 adult males and 19 adult females.According to BMI is divided into overweight and obese groups?24 ? BMI <28 for overweight,BMI ? 28 for obesity?.Overweight male 10,female 8.There were 7 males and 11 females.Healthy,no metabolic type of disease.The exercise energy consumption of four subjects(45%,55%,65%,75% VO2max)was measured by Metamax 3B Cortex gas metabolism analyzer.The generalized estimation equation model was used to study the effects of four intensity exercises before and after intervention The data of each index are analyzed.Results : 1.For45%,55%,75% VO2 max,the relative oxygen uptake of overweight men,Meide,relative energy consumption was significantly higher than obese men.Overweight women's respiratory exchange rate,fat oxidation was significantly lower than obese women.,in addition to respiratory rate and heart rate and plum,the other indicators were significantly higher than women male.In addition to 55% VO2 max no difference,overweight male fat oxidation is greater than women.In addition to 45% VO2 max no difference,the other three kinds of fat is less than women.The fat oxidation rate,carbohydrate and respiration rate of obese men were significantly higher than those of overweight men at 45% exercise intensity.The fat oxidation rate and respiration rate of obese women were significantly higher than those of overweight women.Under the 55% exercise intensity,the relative oxygen uptake,METS and relative energy consumption of obese men were significantly higher than those of overweight men.The fat oxidation and respiration rate of obese women were significantly higher than those of overweight women.Under VO2 max There were no significant differences in the energy consumption indicators between obese men and overweight men.The fat oxidation and respiration rate of obese women were significantly higher than those of overweight women.Fatty oxygenation,carbohydrate and respiration rate of obese men were significantly higher than those of overweight men at 75% exercise intensity.The fat oxidation,carbohydrate and respiration rate of obese women were significantly higher than those of overweight women.Conclusions:1.Under 45%VO2max,55%VO2max,65%VO2max and 75%VO2max loads,the oxygen transport capacity of overweight males is higher than that in obese men,and the oxygen transport capacity of overweight females is higher than that of obese females.2.Over recombinant men and women,the amount of fat oxidation was not significantly different from that of women,and other energy consumption indicators were higher for men than for women.In the obese group,obese women had greater fat consumption than obese men under 55%VO2max,65%VO2max and 75%VO2max exercise intensities.3.With the increase of exercise intensity,the peak of lipid oxidation in overweight males appeared in 65%VO2max intensity,and the peak of lipid oxidation in obese men appeared in 45%VO2max intensity exercise.The peak of lipid oxidation in overweight and obese women occurs at 55%VO2max intensity.Other indicators of exercise energy consumption are maximal at 75%VO2max intensity exercise.
