Classical Chinese carries a wealth of basic knowledge of Chinese and traditional Chinese culture.It has always been the emphasis of Chinese teaching in senior high school.In recent years,in the College Entrance Examination,the scope of the classical Chinese has become broader and broader,so learning classical Chinese well is an important task in Chinese teaching in senior high school.However,the current situation of classical Chinese teaching is unsatisfactory.Students are not interested in classical Chinese.There are also some problems in the teaching methods.Therefore,methods of classical Chinese teaching are in urgent need of reform.Sitcoms teaching method combines “learning” together with “using”,which will help students develop their divergent ways of thinking,change their learning attitudes and help them to come to a better understanding of the text.Besides,sitcoms teaching method can make the classical Chinese class more interesting,improve students’ interest and strengthen the contact and cooperation among teachers and students.Therefore,the author has decided to introduce sitcoms teaching method into the classical Chinese teaching in senior high school to explore the value of its implementation.The thesis is divided into five parts.In the introduction part,the reason of the research is described at the first place,which is followed by the research objects,research actualities,research significance,research design and research methods.Chapter one mainly presents the relative concepts,including the definition and characteristics of sitcoms teaching method,and notions of sitcoms teaching method in classical Chinese class.Sitcoms teaching method in classical Chinese class is based on the theory of “participatory teaching”,along with “close reading” as its guidance.In the teaching practice,this method can improve the efficiency of the class,innovate the teaching mode of classical Chinese,promote students’ self-learning ability,stimulate students’ creative thinking ways,and explore their potential and present students’ performance in classical Chinese learning.Chapter two focuses on the analysis of the application of sitcoms teaching to classical Chinese teaching in senior high school.It points out the consistence of classical Chinese text and the play.By analyzing the various collocation methods of classical Chinese and the play,the principles of sitcoms teaching in classical Chinese are put forward,as well as the teaching procedure: proposing an overall scheme-designing teaching plan-creating the play-presenting the teaching effect-evaluation and feedback.Chapter three is made up of two parts.The first part mainly analyzes the problems in the application of sitcoms teaching to classical Chinese teaching in senior high school from three aspects,including subjective attitudes,objective conditions and the design of the play.The problems can be concluded as the following points.Students don’t take an active part in it.The teaching materials are not kept well.What’s more,multimedia,as a kind of auxiliary teaching equipment,is not well adopted.The teaching activities are constrained by many factors.In addition,the design of the play is rigid and lack of extra-curricular extension.It also overemphasizes the plot and ignores the basic knowledge of classical Chinese.According to the problems mentioned above,the second part gives the corresponding instructional strategies from the following aspects: promoting students’ participation,improving the awareness of keeping the teaching materials,changing the exam-oriented conception,establishing effective communication,combining intra and extra-curricular activities and embedding basic knowledge.The conclusion part shows that the application of sitcoms teaching arouses students’ interest in studying classical Chinese;it also helps teachers to find out the diverse talents of students.In the future classical Chinese teaching,the author will keep the enthusiasm,always confront difficulty and conquer it.The author will work earnestly and explore more effective classical Chinese teaching methods.
