As a kind of literary style,which has a long history and is widely loved by teachers and students,the novel plays a very important role in the Chinese curriculum.Novel teaching is one of the key links in Chinese teaching.Although the novel is very popular,the teaching of the novel is awkward.Over the years,the novel teaching has not been able to get rid of the two major chronic illness: one is the content of the novel teaching is too rigid and always has the same pattern;the other is the content of the novel is too random to deviate the original intention of the novel teaching.For this reason,the teaching of novel is more and more concerned by researchers.In theory,a specific novel course,teaching contents should be clear and will continue to strengthen the concept to determine the novel teaching contents;In teaching practice,the novel teaching contents be affected by many factors,from the examination outline to the curriculum standard,from the textbook compiling to teachers' teaching,from the novel's theory to the interpretation of the novel,from the teaching objectives developed by teachers to the knowledge absorbed by students.Each link affects the determination of the content of the novel teaching.Teaching contents pointing to the two aspects,which include the teachers' teaching and the students' learning,and it mainly include the main information and guidance of teachers in teaching and learning.The contents of teaching is the key to achieve the goal of teaching through the class.Therefore,it is a prerequisite to make clear the teaching contents.The teaching contents of the novel have been disputed for many years recently years,due to the promotion and popularization of Professor Wang Rongsheng,the definiteness of the contents of Chinese teaching has become the focus of the novel teaching.Specific to the novel teaching is the content of the teaching of the novel.Because of its own special style,the novel has a strong subjectivity,whether it is creation or interpretation.And this is also the fundamental reason for the difficulty of determining the contents of the novel.Tracing the origin of the problem,starting from the root of the problem,to find the basis of the determination of the content of the novel teaching,to solve the problem is an important purpose of this paper.This thesis is a practical paper which is inclined to practice.Therefore,in the process of writing,the author attaches great importance to the combination of theory and practice,trying to support the theoretical part through specific cases.In addition to the introduction,this paper is divided into three chapters: it includes the exposition of the necessity of determining the novel teaching 'content,the reason why the content of the novel teaching is difficult to be determined,and how to determine the content of the teaching of the novel.The research on the certainty of the content of the novel teaching is not only the requirement of the present situation of the teaching of the novel,but also the driving force of the novel teaching in junior middle school.Based on the questionnaire and literature,the author analysis the reasons of the novel teaching mainly from the macro and micro.It covers four aspects: curriculum standards,teaching materials,teaching objectives and teachers.Finally,the author focuses on how to determine the content of the novel teaching.After defining the premise of the teaching content of the novel,the author introduces the theory of literature and strengthens the theoretical basis of the teaching content of the novel.Then explore and analyse how to determine the contents of the novel teaching according to the characteristics of the novel,categories and materials,as well as students,examination requirements and so on.
