A Study On The Standard Of Teachers' Informatization Teaching Ability In Higher Vocational Colleges In Jiangsu Province

As an important part of the training of talents,higher vocational education cultivated China's first-line high-quality workers.The capability of teacher's informatization teaching would directly affect the cultivation of vocational students.Based on the visualized analysis and qualitative interpretation of authoritative documents relevant to the theme of teacher's informatization teaching ability(hereafter TITA),it is found that the research on the teaching ability has improved yet,but lack of practical research,The majority of existing research ignored the vocational teachers' teaching capacity research.An authoritative standard is urgently needed.Therefore,a questionnaire respecting 249 vocational teachers from Jiangsu province is constructed.In conclusion,shortage of these vocational teachers has been found: the informatization teaching ability is unbalanced;their weak skills can not match to consciousness;the positive correlation in TITA;the influence comes from gender,education and work experience.The conclusion above has provided a realistic basis for the construction of the TITA Standard.Then,the study further selected "The Use Of ICT in Subject Teaching" from the British,"National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers" from the United States,"ICT Competency Framework for Teachers" from UNESCO,as well as China's "Secondary Vocational School Teachers' Professional Standard(Trial)" and "Primary and Secondary School Teachers' ICT Application Standard(Trial)",and analysis these standards' indicator system and the major contents.Then 15 key words has been extracted including "ICT application awareness,promote student learning,instructional design,teaching methods,instructional assessment and evaluation,communication and professional development" and other words,as well as 17 references.The key words above had become the theoretical basis of the TITA Standard.Finally,5 key indexes(Awareness and Attitude,Foundation and Skills,Teaching Practice,Vocational Practice,Research and Innovation)and 17 secondary indexes are extracted from the key words and references.Otherwise,based on the realistic basis and facility status of teachers' ability in Jiangsu Province,the development of teachers' ability has been divided into three sections: "Basic Requirement","Ability Promotion" and "Development Goal".And each secondary index is described in detail.Finally,the Standard including 5 capability indexs,17 second-level indicators and 51 third-level performance indicators comes out,so as the comprehensive interpretation.The Standard is considered as a theoretical reference of higher vocational teachers in Jiangsu Province.
