The truth and significance of teaching is life. On the background of exam-oriented teaching, abilities and feelings are ignored while the ultimate goal of teaching is knowledge imparting and acquiring. This kind of teaching ignores the life of both teachers and students as well as the text. As a result, the characteristics and creativity of students are lost and teachers are unable to enjoy their daily work and life of both teachers and students are neglected. Thus, it is necessary to observe the principle of life development so as to continuously develop their life in teaching as life regarded as the basic point. Life-emphasized teaching, hence, is chosen as the topic in the study. Due to the pressure of College Entrance Examination, the function of life-emphasized teaching does not work especially in the subject of politics. Traditional teaching neglects the existence of life, while life-emphasized teaching stresses the completeness of life, which paves a new way for politics teaching. The following parts are the bodies of the study:Part 1 is a introduction about the reasons of topic choosing, literature review about results of scholars at home and broad, theoretic and practical significance of the study and research ideas and methods.Part 2 is about the limitation, features and necessities of life-emphasized teaching.From a comprehensive point of view, the essence of life-emphasized teaching is limited and it features are introduced in teaching subject, goal,content, method and judgment.Finally, the necessities of it for politics teaching, the teachers and students are stated.Part 3 focuses on the performance of life-emphasized teaching and reasons why it is lacking in politics class in high school. For performance, the comparative analysis is made from 5 aspects. On exploring reasons, traditional history, school management, inner teaching system and other aspects are analyzed.Part 4 is the finally part of the paper, which is about how to implement life-emphasized teaching in politics class in high school. The traditional history and teaching management leads to the imbalance of teacher-student relationship, so the harmonious teacher-student relationship is required; as for the inner teaching system,countermeasures in the aspect of teaching goal, content and method are put offered.
