| In the era of micro-learning, the application of micro-course is becoming more and more popular. With the rapid spread of the Khan Academy,the micro-course,which is based on the Flipped classroom, came into being. However, due to the current lack of proprietary micro-course design theory for guidance,micro-course’s development is still in the exploratory stage.There is no uniform standard for the definition of micro-course at present.The limitation of micro-course in time and space demands higher motivation.The development of current micro-course has a serious neglect of the learners learning motivation, making learners’ learning motivation be low.This study introduces the design model of ARCS to guide the design of micro-course, so as to add motivational design factors to teaching and improve the application effect of micro-class.This study examines the problems existing in the current micro-course after reading a large number of documents, and conducts a questionnaire survey on the primary school information technology micro-class for primary school students, and interviews with information technology teachers to understand the current situation of students studying micro-courses And then with the search of literature to find a solution, in-depth understanding of ARCS motivational design patterns, and apply it in the design of micro-class. And then put forward the corresponding motivation design strategy, and provide practical examples of the use of strategies ,giving practitioners a little inspiration.According to the process of ARCS motivational design model, the design mode of micro-class design based on ARCS motive design pattern is introduced, and the steps of micro-class design are introduced. Followed by the application of the micro-course based on the ARCS motivational model, and applied to the classroom of the fourth grade information technology. Finally, the results of the analysis, in the comparison between experimental class and control class, analysis of ARCS motivational design pattern design of the micro-class has caused students to learn micro-course motivation significant changes.The research methods adopted in this study are investigation method,literature method and interview method.In the implementation of course , one class adopts regular micro-course teaching,and the other class adopts micro-course based on ARCS motivational design pattern,through the students’ emotional motivation level and the academic performance to analyze the application results, and conclude that the micro-course based on the ARCS motivational model can promote the improvement of students’learning motivation and the strengthening of learning ability, and improve the problem of insufficient motivation in the current micro-class,enriching the design theory of micro-course. |
